Points of Interest

1. Conundrum Creek Trailhead

Plenty of parking here. No permits or fees required.

2. Various Views Up Valley

These photos were taken at various points along the way up the valley.

3. Conundrum Hot Springs

Pick a camping spot and relax in these perfect alpine hot springs.

4. Traverse

This is the traverse back to head up into the peaks. These pictures show the ascent and descent from this area. Next you'll be moving into snow fields and scree fields.

5. West Bowl of Casle Peak

Here you may have to cross some snow fields and then you'll be headed up the really steep scree face in front of you to gain the ridge. No other way around it. Watch your ankles!

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the top here as my camera died. Hopefully some other website members will have some soon. Return the way you came being careful on the descent.
