Lives in Adelaide, Australia
Since Jun 2014
25-34 year old female
Born and raised in the Australian country, then later moving and living in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, I enjoy travelling both to remote and populated locations. For me travelling is about discovering new places, cuisines and cultures. I love being immersed into the local life particularly when it comes to food. I enjoy exploring the cuisines at markets and cafes/restaurants that only the locals go to. Although I prefer the warmer climates so that I can enjoy the sunshine on a beach, I don't mind putting many layers on to explore the local sights and enjoy snuggling up in front of a warm fire.

Banje Beach has some of the most stunning views of the ancient city walls and the Old Town in Dubrovnik. Choose to hire a sun bed or to rest your head on the pebbled/sand beach while laying down on your towel.
Overlooking the beautiful cliff towards Lokrum Island is Cafe Buza. There is space on the concrete further down from the cafe to soak up some sun and watch some dare devils take cliff dives off the edge.
A perfect place for everyone! This beach is well suited for families as well as the solo traveler, seniors, couples, and friends, as it has a nearby cafe and bar as well as toilet facilities. This beach overlooks Dubrovnik Bridge and harbor so in the peak season you may get the opportunity to see a large cruise boat sail in or out of the harbor.
The Island of Lokrum — located just a 30-minute ferry-ride away from Dubrovnik — provides you with the opportunity to find a more private, peaceful beach to relax and enjoy the sun's rays.
Grab one of the many sun beds on Lapad beach to enjoy the crystal blue water and a great view. Plus, you'll find bars, cafes, and toilet facilities nearby.
Located a mile away from the main center of Dubrovnik, this beach can provide a little more privacy than other beaches around the city. The waters are surrounded by a pebbled and sand beach.
