Want to know how to get the adrenaline pumping? That's easy: jump into shark infested waters! Bali Sharks is a conservation and education project which is both a worthwhile cause and a great day out. Young sharks are easily trapped by the shark fishermen at low tide and are usually used for the fins and food. Today the same fishermen are encouraged (by being paid) to bring those small sharks into the nursery to give them a second chance at life. Your first stop is the shark nursery to become familiar with these animals, before entering the water to swim with them!
This is a picturesque golf course with spectacular views. Your game will take you through hills, tropical jungle plants, coconut trees, and man-made lakes; plus there is a driving range perfect for a pre-game warm up. Visitors are most welcome, and the entry price includes green fee, shared golf cart, and a caddie. Clubs and shoes can be hired, and the dress code is strict.
If you are looking to try something a bit different, why not give traveling underwater on a scooter a go. It is suitable for all ages, and no experience is necessary as you will be accompanied by an instructor.
The sky is the limit. A tandem paraglider flight is the just the thing for anyone wanting 'a bird's eye view.' After a run through the flight safety instructions, you will be soaring like an eagle above the southern coastline in no time!
Enjoy breakfast on board the Waka as you sail away from the shores of Bali, heading to Lembongan. Troll for fish that you will be eating on the BBQ at lunchtime, and then simply lie back and relax while taking in the ocean breeze on this 2-hour trip. When you arrive at your private beach resort on Lembongan, you can spend a fun five hours eating, snorkeling, swimming, surfing, viewing the reef in a glass bottom boat, or even take a village or seaweed farm tour. There are also board games, table tennis, and volleyball for those who are so inclined.
Tanjung Benoa — the water sports capital of Bali, is the place to come for all types of water activities. The beach is lined with water sports centers, restaurants, and bars; and boats by the hundreds lie in wait for adventurous visitors, in the calm, protected waters.
This is an incredible adventure for all ages, especially for any non-divers. A short speedboat ride will take you to the pontoon, a little off-shore, from where you can get up close and personal with the colorful fish — you can even feed them. For anyone who is apprehensive, have no fear as there will be an experienced guide with you every step of the way.
If you ever wondered what it's like to fly like Superman, strap a pack to your back and take off! The Jetpack can lift you off the ground up to 9 meters (30 feet) and thrusts you forward at nearly 50km (30 miles) per hour. If a pack on your back isn't your thing, then try the Jet Bike.
You don't have to be a keen fisherman to enjoy a day out on Sweet Stanley. The trip can be customized to suit your desires, including trolling, bottom fishing, and jiggling. The expert boat crew will get you to the best spot to catch that 'monster' fish you'll be bragging about for years to come (and have the photo to prove it,) or at least give you some good anecdotes about 'the one that got away.'
The waters surrounding Bali, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Penida are rich in marine life. Depending on where you dive, you could be swimming with mola mola, manta rays, turtles, sharks, and thousands of different fish species. Bali Scuba Masters are a PADI five-star dive center offering many programs including beginner diver, open water, advanced, and dive master. From the minute you are picked up from your hotel, the professional staff will make your day one to remember.
