There are few things better after a day in the sun — or water — than indulging in some sweets. Key Largo Chocolates will absolutely catch your eye with their bright pink and green shop, so stop in to reward your other senses as well. Everything is delicious, from the Florida Keys fudge to the handmade truffles, and everything in between.
You're going to want to pick up some souvenirs during your stay in Key Largo, and Shell World's massive, two-story gift shop is a great place to start. Although there's far more than sea shells at Shell World, you will find a plethora of those as well. Clothing, knickknacks, jewelry, and lots upon lots of shells, and other aquatic themed items. More than just a souvenir shop, Shell World is a fun destination in itself.
If the objective for your time in the Keys is relaxation, then you need to squeeze Prana spa into your days of lying on the beach and watching amazing sunsets. A holistic healing center with a charming gift shop, Prana offers massage therapy, energy healing, meditation, and other services.
Whether you're looking to fish in Key Largo and need bait, or you'd simply like to buy some fresh seafood to throw on the grill, Key Largo Fisheries Backyard is a must-stop. With reasonable prices, they offer a full range of both fresh and frozen seafood, and if you don't want to cook it yourself, stop into their Take Away Cafe, have a seat on the outdoor deck, and treat yourself to some amazing seafood.
If you have a fondness for sandals, then the kingdom at the Sandal Castle is awaiting your arrival. With its famously friendly staff, the Sandal Castle offers more than 9,000 pairs of sandals and flip flops, tropical dresses and shirts, sunglasses, fish-theme shirts for guys and designer ones for the ladies, t-shirts, towels, jewelry, and more. Perfect for the thrifty shopper who's more interested in reasonable prices than designer labels.
A great way to explore Key Largo is by bicycle, and All Keys Cycles can set you up with their numerous lines of bicycles and full service repair shop. And if you're not ready to commit but still want to zoom around town a bit, you can rent bikes from All Keys Cycles too.
We all love ice cream and Mr. C's Gourmet Italian Ice Cream in Key Largo is happy to accommodate. The waffle cones are made fresh and on site, and the portions are large, with an array of flavors to choose from.
