Wonderful relaxing atmosphere and welcoming arrival from Jam. Room and bed is comfortable, perfect place to explore the surrounding country side. Hearty eggs and sausage breakfast to get the day started. Only one tip John, can we please have a small electric jug next time, pretty please. We are early coffee rises!

After spending all day riding around Northern Thailand this place was a very welcome sight ......
Nice and chilled out, great hosts and good food. Big rooms and really comfy beds ( giant beds ) shower room was a nice size.
I was the only guest at this time and they took good care of me :-)
Would recommend
The dogs are friendly and guarded my room.
The only reason I’m not giving *5 as the price varies so much on different web sites.

The room was adequate for myself and the mosquitoes.
The 'hotel' dogs kept us up most of the night with their barking. The photo of the pool area is total fabrication; the pool was unavailable from when we got there. We left the following morning and sacrificed our money which was worth it. Even then the English proprietor tried to charge us extra. I don't know which place the other people reviewed but it could not have been here or if it was then they were paid to say it was. Iwould not recommend this place as a last resort never mind a holiday resort!

We stayed there for only 1 night after crossing over from Laos.
Our room was sparkling clean, the bed comfy and the shower equipped with a hot shower that worked perfectly! The outdoor pool was also fantastic, being at least 15 metres long, it was excellent to for a proper swim.
Owner John and his wife were lovely hosts, providing us with free bikes to cycle around and into town and they also gave us a (paid) ride to Chiang Rai airport. To complete the lovely stay, we were welcomed and accompanied by their friendly 4 dogs who just wanted to cuddle, cuddle & cuddle.
Overall, it felt like a true oasis and we wished we had budgeted in a few more days here to enjoy the tranquillity and explore the surroundings.
Big thumps up for this place!

We stayed at Siam Tara for one night, we really liked the hotel and the bed was comfortable. We arrived late from Chiang Mai and we found out that the kitchen was closed at that time; however, the owner Jhon offered to drove us to a restaurant. He was really kind and helpful. The hotel has a nice pool and it is located in a quiet area. The breakfast was average for the price.
