Stayed here for a couple of nights last week just prior to the Op Market Garden remembrance celebrations so it was ideal for us to use as a base. Hotel was very modern and well maintained. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. The shower could have done with an overhaul. But in all a very nice hotel. We had to pay extra for breakfast, €17 each. A bit pricey but a very good choice and good quality. Didn’t use the pool or gym but it all looked well equipped and would use if I ever went back.
The hotel is located outside the city centre, next to a green area and with easy free parking. Great room and breakfast. Swimming pool OK, sauna and turkish bath average. Kind employees, bar a bit expensive.
We spent a weekend in this Hotel in the month of november, it was a very good stay, we enjoined most of the Hotel facilities, tasted both restaurant, the bar and a great room breakfast.
The breakfast was very very good and surely worth to do. But is this a 4 star hotel, yes of course, it this hotel a 4 star review worth, NO
1) The sauna and swimming pool space is not very comfortable, very limited number of available chaise longue, no safe for your clothes, not that clean, you could, you should expect more at this level
2) We planned to have a lot of walks, but where also interested in watching the F1 qualify, unfortunately no one in the hotel was able to tell if this was possible and how, their were more like, i do not know, perhaps in the room etc, not that big issue not watching it, but the non supportive spirit of the personnel (that for a hotel with a race simulator in the hall)
3) No fridge in the room, so no possibility to have a could glass of water or for guest to put their purchase, like a bottle of champagne or some local delights.
So a greta hotel, with many facility, good restaurant, but not worth the spent.
I had two weekend nights here on a Battlefield tour trip in September. Large, comfortable rooms in a quiet woodland setting. Plenty of footpaths heading off in every direction for the active, and a pool to cool down in at the end of the day. For the less active the bar is friendly and has a large outside terrace. A la carte and set menus were both varied and not too expensive. The only downside is it is a long way from anywhere, so if you want to visit a local restaurant or bar a taxi or car is required.
Since my last visit the rooms have been revamped and are comfortable. The facilities are excellent with a good pool, excellent restaurant and, from what I saw yesterday, is an excellent conference venue. Transport-wise, there are ample car-parking spaces, or its 10 minutes to Arnhem railway station, either by taxi or bus and it’s a really easy transfer. There are bikes to hire for cycling locally- brilliant to watch those who don’t usually cycle get to grips with cycling.
I dined alone on Sunday night and was treated amazingly well. Wonderful service, friendly staff, truly excellent food. Thank you all!
