We spent a night here with our 2 dogs, had a good night’s sleep, quiet village, breakfast was good, room was clean, shower new, owner was dog-friendly. Check in is before 10pm and kitchen closes early-ish but we found a Greek restaurant open til 11pm about 10 min drive away. Only downside was that towels had been omitted but this was rectified as soon as we asked. Would happily return.
The staff were excellent especially when it came to the menu, the food was well prepared and plentiful, and the rooms were clean and tidy, and if you are staying more than one night the beds were remade and fresh towel were placed in the shower room
I stayed here for three nights in September. The hotel is in a very small village in a rural location. The setting is beautiful. There are at least three other hotels and a cafe in the tiny village. The restaurant was fairly busy but the staff were very good and didn't keep people waiting. The food was excellent on the two nights I ate here. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable.
It's a great location to use as a base for walking in the stunning Eifel national park.
The hotel itself is nice enough, but the staff is very rude. Our reservation stated a 12:00 check-out time, but we were ordered to vacate the room immediately at 11:00 in an extremely rude manner. Having done so we waited for more than five minutes at the front-desk, ringing the bell, but there was no staff in sight. As we booked via credit-card we left, but after we had been outside for several minutes, loading our luggage, the staff ran out, summoning us back in to pay at the desk. They won't ever see us back again.
