We stay here while visiting Bath. It's close enough to travel into Bath but in a lovely quiet rural setting. Kate and Clive provide a very friendly relaxed atmosphere in this spacious converted farm house. The house had character and our room and on-suite had ample space.
Breakfast, cooked by Clive, was good and we all sat around a communal table, getting a chance to meet other guests, while woodpeckers visited the bird feeder outside the patio door. We also learnt something about Rheas, which Kate rears ( no pun intended ).
A great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone.

We were house hunting in the area and booked with Clive and Katherine by phone. Katherine sounded so nice on the phone we knew that we would be delighted with our choice. We had a comfortable room with a large double, plenty of biccies, milks etc on the hospitality tray so no skimping there. One word of warning, unless you are training for Britain's Strangest Man I would be careful what you order for breakfast! My husband had the full English and it was, by far, the biggest breakfast he had ever encountered. Of course their eggs are so fresh as they keep a vast array of chickens, ducks etc, we had to buy some to take home. A lovely experience and we would not hesitate to stay again.

My husband and I stayed here last Saturday and what an great place it is. Kate and Clive are so warm , friendly and welcoming it was a pleasure to stay with them. We instantly felt at home and couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable night away from home. Bed comfy, good shower and amazing view into their holding. The refreshment tray was the best I've had in a room, so much nicer than the big chains too. Sweets, biscuits, proper Yorkshire tea bags and a great selection of coffee! Amazing!
Now onto the breakfast...my goodness it was a feast for a king and bloody delicious! You certainly don't leave feeling like you've not eaten! You leave there feeling like you can't eat another thing for days!
A truly fantastic establishment and would stay there and recommend to everyone in a heart beat.

I had just an overnight stay on my own so took their smallest single room, which was small! but very comfortable, with tv, WiFi, and good tea/coffee making facilities. Clive and Kate couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! A great place to stay.

We stayed at Meadowbrook for spontaneous two day break in the Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, positivity and hospitality of Clive and Kate was perfect. They both gave us lots of information on how to get the most out of our stay. Kate even came with us on the first part of one of our walks to make sure we were heading the right direction.

The room was spotless clean, and the facilities provided were more than adequate for the price of the room. The added bonus of staying at Meadowbrook is the smallholding full of all kinds of animals including rheas, ducks, chickens and geese. Of course the eggs for your full English are freshly picked eggs from outside.

Thank you so much Clive and Kate!! We had a great time and we will come back for sure! Hopefully we can feed the animals again ;)
