The staff were all very kind, efficient and cheerful. The room was spacious, the bed was big if a little hard. Big mosquito net, we had hot water, not really necessary. Lovely shower on the beach. Beach the nicest on the island in my opinion. Worthwhile renting a bike. Monkeys visited the bungalows a couple of times during our 5 week stay. The island is quiet and the people friendly.
From the moment we were picked-up from the pier and the delivery of our luggage to our room, we were very happy we booked this resort. Rooms are comfortable with wonderful balcony views of the ocean. The staff went out of their way to help me make my friends 50th birthday celebration special- they made him a wonderful pancake w/ fruit as his cake - it was very yummy! Do not hesitate to book this resort you will not be disappointed.
We absolutely loved it here. Firstly the manger Trang was very friendly, great English and looked after us. Unfortunately we only popped over from Koh Lanta for 2 days. Wanted to stay another day but it was fully booked. We had a bungalow right on the beach and the views and sunset where stunning.
It is very quiet here but that was exactly what we needed.
The bungalow was fan but that was fine and never to hot. It would be nice to have a fridge but a lot of bungalows all over Thailand don’t and it’s not such a big deal when your out all day and evening.
As people said it is a steep climb to the main road or other way if your bungalows are at the top. Loved the mosquito net and never got bitten. Got eaten alive in Koh Lanta even using spray. Never saw any bugs in our room.
We only ate breakfast in the restaurant which was ok.
The main road and night time is very dark so do take a torch. There are lots of nice restaurants and I think bars are open till 1am but we never stayed up late.
Beach is clean and you can look around and only see a few people.
I loved it here and even though it’s quiet 2 days is not long enough.
If you’re looking for something low key and not many tourists this is definitely a great place to go! We looved Koh Jum. We spent 3 nights at jungle hill and were sad to leave. The restaurant was great and well priced and staff was lovely. Room is very simple, no hot water, ac or wifi in room, but had a bug net and fan. Location right on the beach and beach chairs are provided. Enjoyed nice massage on the beach as well! Would go back for sure!
We've stayed in many wooden shack/bungalows and this was a rather fancy one! Very spacious, well decorated room and a super comfy bed (not a hard Asian one)! Food was great and the staff were really friendly. Your bungalow/shack is more a less in the jungle on the beach and you fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Would highly recommend staying here. Also the beach you stay on is pretty clean, whereas some of the other beaches we saw were quite the opposite, and you get to use the kayaks for free! (This may just be in low season though I'm not sure)
