My husband and I stayed in this hotel recently. Mary, the owner, was so helpful. An extremely nice lady. Our hotel room was extremely bright and airy and impeccably clean. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We loved the Beer Garden. It had amazing views and was an ideal place to unwind.
We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a lovely view of the river. Being located only a block from the Louisburgh’s main street was also a bonus – pubs and bars almost on our doorstep! The highlight was Mary and her family’s service. Knowing we were on our honeymoon, Mary surprised us with a lovely complimentary bottle of wine. The day before our departure, we asked to print our boarding passes for our flight. Mary was out for the afternoon, but her husband and son gave us instructions over the phone on how to use the computer & printer in the foyer. Knowing that we had to leave at 6am, Mary went out of her way to bring breakfast to our room the night before. Thank you for a lovely stay! We would definitely stay here again.
Comfortable, spacious, clean rooms and friendly helpful staff is all you could ask for from a small hotel and this is exactly what you get at the West View.
Louisburg is a small village in one of the most remote parts of Ireland so don't expect opulence and splendor from a hotel here. No international chains just a family run hotel for which nothing is too much bother, a warm welcome and comfortable room.
I will stay here again for sure.
Recently stayed at The West View with some friends. Spotlessly clean, beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the river and a very tasty continental breakfast. Mary(our host) was extremely accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait for our next trip back to Lovely Louisburgh. Rooms booked already!
Our room was very warm and comfortable and our dog was made very welcome. The continental breakfast offered a good choice and the hotel is well situated to look around the town as well as visit nearby beaches.
