We recently stayed here for a 2 night getaway and loved every second of our trip. The grounds are absolutely amazing, and as you arrive, you drive through the gardens which help to provide food for the dinner and breakfast. There are 2 sweet dogs who are the best greeters and goats, horses, chickens, ducks...etc. All sorts of friendly farm animals. We stayed our first night in a cabana which is a little walk from the main house. We loved our privacy out there and sat on the deck reading until the sun went down. We hiked up the hill the next morning for breakfast and asked to stay another night. We moved into the main house for the second night and it was such a beautiful and cozy room. The rooms are all beautiful with amazing little details, and if you decide to dine there (which we did both nights), your tastebuds will be pleasantly surprised by the creations from this kitchen. We definitely hope to be back soon!
Hosts were very friendly. and helpful nothing was a bother to them. views are amazing and pool very clean . The food was of good quality and vegetables from their garden
The decor of our bedroom was charmingly rustic with furniture of stressed wood all in good taste
We stayed in one of the cabins, 2 mins walk from the main house. The cabin really has everything you need, including tea/coffee facilities. The family were so nice, and they went through great lengths to make us the most amazing vegan/vegetarian dishes from ingredients fresh out of their gardens. They have chickens, goats, horses and 2 very friendly dogs that you can hang out with around the property. The jacuzzi was clean and welcoming, and so was the pool. The reading room is also nice to read a book, play a board game or just take a rest on the comfy sofas. There were always little snacks available, and we could make tea at any time of day. We loved it here and will definitely go back in future.
We spent ten wonderful days in Can Caponet thanks to the loveable host family who did literally everything to make us feel comfortable and at home - it was a perfect experience! The place itself is very beautiful, with the impressive drive lined with cypresses, the beautifully decorated main house and of course the lush garden with shady rest beds and a very clean and inviting salt water pool. Our room in the main building was spacious, cool enough (even without AC) and had its own small terrace. The 4 to 5 course diner prepared by Biel and Maria was most delicious, always prepared from fresh produce from their own garden. As we travelled with our 6-year-old son, they even managed to offer him an adapted menu with a little bit less food and more child-friendly dishes - a very nice touch! Furthermore, Biel and Maria pointed out interesting spots and places to see and we were very thankful for their recommandation of restaurants and things to do.
Last but not least, thank you again Lluis for all the help with our "electricity issues" - now Can Caponet is - inofficially - a Tesla Destination Charging spot... ;-)
The only minor deception was to see the goats caged in a (too) small stable - we would have loved to see them in an open enclosure, as there should be enough space on the spread-out property.
We loved everything about Can Caponet! We went without a car, but had no problem because we did not even want to leave the property! It is a perfect place to relax, with multiple cozy corners for reading- some in the shade, some in the sun, etc. You can lay by the salt pool or spend time in the hot tub, or sit outside your room listening to the birds sing and feeling the cool breeze! We loved every second, and thought it was absolutely perfect. It is tranquil, clean, quiet, and calming. We LOVED the cabins and would definitely stay there again. The breakfast had a nice variety, and the dinner was delicious - they even accommodated for different dietary needs. The "mood" of the dinner was calm and romantic, we just loved it! Biel, Maria, and their parents are so kind and welcoming! We hope to return, and would recommend to all!
