Best accommodation on our Tasmania trip.
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay.
It's a beautiful cottage with lots of room for a family. Large living and kitchen, huge bathroom with huge spa! Comfy beds and beautiful interior design.
Lots of little extras - from Chocolates next to each bed, TIM Tams, Pantry items like cereal, coffee and other basics. They even left milk, bread, tassie butter and homemade jams in the fridge! Wow ! The list goes on ..
Such a wonderful home to stay in with lovely gardens too and you can see beautiful Kangaroo Bay from front deck.
It's a short walk to waters edge and a lovely walk along the waterfront. So Close to restaurants - walking distance.
Glad we stayed here and not in city centre.
If you drive to city you can park in car park for Tasmania Art Gallery and Museum for three hours - 8 hrs ( especially if you have a larger car or 4WD)
Do yourself a favour stay here in Hobart ! You'll love it !
We stayed at Pepperberry Cottage For 3 days and was the best accommodation that we stayed at in Tasmania. Very warm, cozy and quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need and more. Bedrooms were simply beautiful and very comfortable. It really was a home away from home.
We stayed in Pepperberry Cottage. We were 2 couples travelling around Tassie. Our flight arrived late at almost 9pm so it was 9.30pm before we got to the cottage. I had made prior arrangements for the key to be left out for us. Upon entering the cottage it had a wonderful "Homely" feel. Rosie and Jeff the hosts had gone above and beyond to make our stay the most comfortable. The pantry was well stocked, fresh bread, butter ,milk, jams in the fridge. A beautiful bowl of mixed fruit. Everything to make you feel special. We stayed 5 nights and cooked most nights in the full kitchen. 2 large bedrooms with separate toilet and a shared bathroom with large spa bath. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Recently had the pleasure of staying 3 nights in the Pepperberry cottage. This is a 2 bedroom cottage, situated on a large block behind the owners house, and in front of the other cottage, all accessed by an easy drive way. Could tell from the outside that the whole block was well maintained, with beautiful gardens, blooming roses, and berries and apples that we picked from the trees (hope that was alright ??). On entering, you could note the cleanliness and the pride that went into making the house so comfortable. Great linens, towels, and plenty of toiliteries, Kitchen well stocked with everything you need for a couple of days-any longer and you would need to pop down to the shops a couple of minutes down the road to re stock. Big lounge and dining room, with a massive balcony with table, chairs and a BBQ. Made our breakfast each morning, cooked one night, and ate out down the road on the 2 other nights. You could really spend any amount of time in the house that you wanted, it was really that big. Did like the fact that we could also wash and hang our clothes out of sight on a relatively discreet line. Really no downside, with the price being probably a little more than we expected, but would i come back-you bet ya !!So very close to getting 5 stars, but pipped at the post. If you have a car, you really dont need to be in the city, when you have nice restaurants, shopping, walking, and the beautiful surrounds. Oh,excellent spot to stay if you are in Hobart for the cricket. And, we got a wave goodbye on our morning of departure-great place and genuinely nice hosts
We have just completed two days at pepper berry cottage which is two bedroom. Great for disabled access. Large and roomy, beautifully decorated in old world charm. Very comfortable beds and good quality linen.overlooking Bellerive village, nice view over city at night. Ten minutes drive to Hobart city. We arrived late in day and host advised a great local restaurant, even walked us there and arranged a table for us on a busy Sunday night. Nothing was too much trouble.
