I never want to stay anywhere else in france. The setting , the food, the hosts were unbelievable. The room wonderful and the countryside surrounding it just epic. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back.
On our way down South we stayed in this very nice Chateau. This is place were holidays start people! Great surroundings great accommodation and very friendly hosts. We came in the afternoon and were warm welcomed by Christian the very host, who gave a us a tour around his Chateau. Obvious with the temperature of +25 c. Our boys wanted to jump in the pool, and so we did. In the evening time we enjoyed an excellent diner on the terrace which made the picture complete. The room we stayed in was a family room on the first floor with a separate room for our boys. The beds were excellent and we had a very good night rest. Overall we can really recommend this place and take the dinner, which Christians wife made you will not be disappointed.
We visited a this place last year for a one night stop over, we loved it so much we returned again this year. The Joseph suite is great for a family of 4, as it has a connecting room with 2 beds. The main room is very beautiful, light and spacious. The grounds are great with swimming pool, sand pit, trampoline and swing. This is a privately owned house and the hosts are lovely. If you want to eat here you need to let them know in advance. We like to explore the surrounding area so head out for dinner. We will return again next year.
We stayed in the family room with the little room for children. The main bedroom was beautiful with a huge comfortable bed. Everything was of excellent quality and after a long car ride it was nice to have this luxurious room. The little room with the two single beds was perfect for our two small boys. The grounds are amazing, with bikes for all ages and a lovely swimming pool. We will be returning next year for our stop over. The owners are a lovely friendly couple who speak very good english. Breakfast is set up in the dining room which was set out beautifully with locally baked croissants, homemade jam and excellent coffee. We dined out as we love to explore the places we stay so didn't take up the offer of dining with the owner. This must be booked in advance.
a beautiful chateau, off the main road. the setting is a grand forest, with a huge green front lawn. the house is comfortable, we had a 2 bedroom joined. it was very clean. Breakfast was always served with fresh croissant, baguette, yogurt, fruit, home made jam. The best part was how friendly and kind the owners were. Made us feel very welcome. This location is rural, away form the bustling cities -but near enough to the village of brinon sur Saulde. This is not a place you come to party - it's a place you come to relax and explore the French countryside!
