Stayed here to get away for a weekend with the kids and what a nice surprise. The pools are great for kids to play in, rooms are very clean, and it is a very quiet area. The food is great, the kids really enjoyed the pizza. Would highly recommend if you need a place to stay while in Haiti or if...
Very Nice Hotel, Very clean, and pool was crystal Clear. The Food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff the friendly, and many spoke English. The rooms were cool, clean and Quiet. Based on US standards the rooms would be a three star, the Restaurant 3 -4 star. Based on other hotels in Haiti...
A great hotel in an otherwise unsafe area of Port au Prince. Safe, clean, good service, lovely pool and gardens. I have stayed there numerous times. That is why I know that what is on the menu is not what is available. Have been disappointed numerous times with "no fruit" and other basics that...

A great hotel in an otherwise unsafe area of Port au Prince. Safe, clean, good service, lovely pool and gardens. I have stayed there numerous times. That is why I know that what is on the menu is not what is available. Have been disappointed numerous times with "no fruit" and other basics that could be purchased down the street. The wine seems to be old and oxidized even with a good brand name. I would love it if they would refresh their wine stock and ensure the basic menu options were always available.

While in Port au Prince I stayed here for a little over a week as we negotiated our way through the labyrinth that is the Haitian Customs process. This hotel was clean and comfortable with a good restaurant and pool.

Service at the restaurant was slow by Canadian standards, but once you get used to it all is good. When in Port au Prince I would have no trouble returning to the Auberge, or recommending it..

The Auberge is a nice clean hotel near the hospital in Carrefour that my group has been working at. We never stayed at the hotel, but went there for dinner twice. It's a nice alternative to rice and beans that we get for every meal around here! They have Haitian dishes but also have pizza, fries, etc. The lasagna is supposedly amazing but they've "run out" when we've ordered it the times we've been there. The food does take forever (good half hour to 45min) to come out. They also have a pool, but you can only swim in it if you're a hotel guest.
