My wife and I + our 2 friends shared villa 108 for 2 weeks in May. The villa will sleep 6. We were all really impressed - the villa was really spacious, the bedrooms were light and airy, kitchen was large and very well equipped. Beds and accommodation were very comfortable. The garden and pool were lovely. It’s a nice quiet area very close to all the amenities in Crown Point. Not too far to walk. Air con was very good and with the fans we coped with the heat - and it was hot! The BBQ was great and we used this on several nights. Our house keeper, Celine, was an absolute darling and looked after us very well. The villa was in generally tip-top condition but was a little tired in some places, not surprising considering it’s used a lot and the climate. Any niggles were fixed pretty quickly. The only grumble was the showers which were a bit feeble at times and in one of the rooms could have done with repairing. The mossies were a pain but in the evenings we used the candles and Deet and did not have too much trouble. The villa does back on to the mangrove area so it’s to be expected however wherever we went on the island there were mosquitoes around in the evenings. Overall, having stayed in hotels before in Tobago in Crown Point and Bacolet, the villa was an excellent option and if we go back, would certainly do this again. Great value with full occupancy.
Spent 4 days
Fully air conditioned house
Washer and dryer
Spacious and clean
Mosquitoes at night outside
One room the AC was unable to turn on or off or even lower the temperature
Will I go again? Yes
My two sisters and I, and our 4 children (18, 19, 13 and 12 years) spent four great days at Coral Sea Villa 106. We were impressed by the layout of the villa. Our teen boys had their privacy as each bedroom had its private bath. Daphne, the housekeeper had a spotless home awaiting us and she called and checked on us. The amenities is as close to home as can be expected; stainless steel appliances, washer, dryer, dishwasher, wireless internet, television, music system, alarm system. The pool was gorgeous and framed by a beautiful garden to aid privacy. The villas are close to Storebay, Pigeon Point and eating places.
The minus were things outside the control of the owner of the villas. The road is very bad with large potholes. The mosquitoes could be problematic but we walked with bug spray, Odomos and lit Off candles.
My family ( 4 adults and 3 children) and I stayed at one of the 3 bedroom villas for 5 days. The housekeeper, Celiene, immediately made us feel right at home on our arrival. We instantly noticed how every room was spotless and tastefully laid out. The kitchen was very spacious and well -equipped. The beauty of the pool and garden area enhanced by soothing garden lights was cherished every minute of our stay. Cosy, private and relaxing are definitely the best three words to describe our entire stay. Without a question, we can safely say that Coral Sea Villas is now our permanent Tobago destination.
We stayed in this spacious 3 bedroom (all en suite) villa, which spanned over two floors. Our party was made up of 4 adults & 3 small children. This was 1 of 6 on a quite residential road.
The villa was well laid out. Downstairs was an open plan kitchen diner & lounge with 1 separate bedroom. The lounge opened out to shaded archways which supported the huge balcony above & had chairs and a dinning table. This overlooked the garden which had a decent size pool & jacuzzi.
Upstairs had 2 bedrooms separated by a lounge/TV room which opened onto the huge balcony.
So, enough room for everyone to chill & soak up the flawless weather ( 1st-15th March).
To get the best choice of fresh food go to the markets. Supermarkets have to freeze everything & lack choice.
Cable Bay & Crown Point are great local beaches. Be selective when eating out , The food is generally pretty average & commercial during the day especially at the beaches.. Check out Cafe Iguana restaurant & the brilliant Kariwak Village . Cafe coco was good as well.
Most eating & nightlife was around Crown Point .
If you want to see the island contact Prince Edwards via Coral Sea staff (Probably the maid ( everyone knows everyone ). forget the capital, theres nothing to see.
All we will say on a negative point of view is that there were too many people involved in running the villa. Although we had trivial problems over two weeks , nobody really took any responsibility and some things were unresolved.
Also in Tobago they're really laid back , so dont expect anything to be treated with urgency and the tourist intake has outgrown the airport . Expect a long wait travelling home.
Would we go again ? Yes but not with small children under age 5.
