We just spent four nights at probably the best B & B we have stayed In. Large spacious room overlooking the fields. Exceptionally clean. Super breakfast with home made jams and bread. The hosts, John and Stephanie, are a great couple full of information and a good sense of humour. Would not hesitate to stay there again and will recommend Hunters Croft to all our friends.

Arrived at Hunters Croft to be greeted by John and Stephanie. Stephanie had made scones, together with home made Jam. Choice of tea or coffee. They made us feel very welcome, into their home.

We stayed in the Annexe, which was a lovely large room with an en-suite shower room, very clean and well kept. Milk also in the small fridge and water for the kettle, if you wanted a drink later.

Breakfast was all that you could have required, Cereal, fresh fruit salad, juices, water and a choice of cooked breakfast. Home made bread, jam and marmalade was also a highlight. John and Stephanie are great hosts and a font of local knowledge.

Good choice of local eateries, we ate at The Hare and Hounds in Sway, both nights, which is excellent.

Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful B&B from the moment we arrived until the day we sadly had to leave. Hosts John & Stephanie are so friendly and helpful and a font of local knowledge. Greeted with Stephs' homemade cake and coffee. Room was large and immaculate. Tea / coffee making facilities, extremely well equipped. En-suite bathroom was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were wonderful, varied & plentiful with homemade or local produce wherever possible. A lovely place to relax and unwind. This is how a B&B should be run.
Thank you once again John & Steph. Would certainly return whenever we visit the area again. Will recommend to everybody.

Stayed in the annex room for a couple of nights at this great B+B . We were given home made cake and coffee on arrival by our hosts who are a lovely couple.
The room is large and everything was very clean and is of good quality.
There is also a bottle of milk etc supplied with the room for your own use. later
The breakfast is fabulous with the owners own fresh eggs , homemade bread etc used as part of it.
Very relaxing stay, would definitely stay again when in the area.

I can't praise this place enough. We took a last minute trip to New Forest arriving at 9:30pm on Valentines night with no where planned to stay. I came across this place on Booking.Com and decided it seemed nice. We rang ahead by only 10 mins to confirm they had a room. Upon arrival John greeted us at the door with a great welcoming smile and handshake which immediately made us feel welcome. After a quick explanation and providing us some fresh milk for the morning John left us to relax. The room was better than expectations, very clean, very cosy but spacious. The whole place has a lovely warm feeling to it and makes you feel really at home. Breakfast in the morning was amazing from a full cooked breakfast (eggs from their own chickens) and local produce, as well as home made Jams and Lemon Curd, and even home made bread. Both John and Stephanie are lovely and welcoming and will answer any questions you have about the area and things to do. After the first night we would have definitely stayed another night but unfortunately they were fully booked. We will definitely be returning soon!
