We had basement room no 1 which included 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living area, and bathroom. Ideal for us as a couple. Good amenities included fridge, 1-ring stove, little top oven, microwave etc., very clean and modern. Best bed from all the ones in the hotels we had used during our week's stay. Only grumble was the heating which blew warm air out every 20 mins or so and was quite noisy so I had to turn it off to get some sleep. Also, owners are above you and sometimes you do hear quite a bit of running about. But apart from that, would thoroughly recommended this apartment - it's 5 mins walk to Jasper town and ideal to use as a touring base.

We enjoyed our short stay at Doe a Deer, in a small apartment about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Jasper. It was very clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The two bedrooms were nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. The sofa was comfy and good for sitting on whilst watching TV. The apartment is below ground level but has sufficient windows to make it well lit, it is reached by an internal flight of stairs. We appreciated being able to park on the drive off the street. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The property is not signed from the street and would benefit from better signage.

This is in a great location, is well decorated and clean. we stayed in the two bedroom which made a great change from hotels. Would agree it is best for a family of three and don't expect to be able to cook much. There is a one ring hob and microwave and almost no cooking equipment. Managed to make spaghetti just about. Good local restaurants and take aways.
It's super tricky to find though as its down the side of the drive and the sign is gone so no good looking for that.
I'm not sure staying in the basement is the best thing when there are such stunning views but it was a good base for exploring and good value. Also wifi is excellent

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in the 2 bedroom ( 1 queen size bed in each room) basement apartment. Laundry across the hall. Parking is on a quiet residential street, easy walking distance from shops, pubs and restaurants .The apartment is clean and beds are comfortable. This is a small apartment but has everything you need. My only suggestion would be to add some heaters, after all it is in the basement.
