Only stayed for one night but had a great stay, wish we were there for longer!
Room was very big, bed and pillows comfy.
Great location and helpful staff.
Didn’t get time to use gym / pool but they both looked good for a hotel.
Had lunch in the restaurant which was a really nice meal too.
Traveling for work I stay at a lot of hotels. This one stood out for their excellent service and really nice, clean, amenity filled rooms.
The bath area features at rainfall shower and huge soaking tub (I didn't try it but looked great), Also included.a custom coffee machine, really nice and comfortable bed and as much as all this, the room was super clean and kept that way throughout my stay.
I can't comment on value as I stayed their as. guest of the company I was working with, but I can say the room service was reasonable and very good.
Great gym and location in the city.
I was fortunate to be on a guest list, when the, then, recently refurbished - it has been so dramatically remodeled that the word refurbished doesn’t seem to cover exactly how changed the hotel was when it reopened in 2011 - Rosewood Hotel Georgia introduced its hotel and its anchor restaurant, Hawksworth, to diners in Vancouver.
It was putting its best foot forward when I joined my wine consultant friend for dinner on one of the opening nights it invited the culinary community to taste what it was up to, so, as one would expect, it did not put a foot wrong.
The food was outstanding, the service superb, the surroundings stunning and the sommelier knowledgeable and gracious.
Not too long after that first meal, a friend invited us for dinner and said I could pick the restaurant.
I picked Hawksworth as I was interested to see how it fared after the honeymoon period was over.
Again the food was outstanding, the service superb, the surroundings stunning and the sommelier knowledgeable and gracious.
About a year later a long-time friend invited me for an after-work bite, drinks and catch-up at the hotel’s other more casual eatery, Reflections.

A few years back my wonderful family came in from Vancouver Island over the holiday season and decided to stay at the Rosewood
as a treat, rather than with me, as they usually did.
Their room was fabulous, as was the fitness center.
The concierge was knowledgeable and gracious, as the front desk staff and those at the back of the hotel - who were managing the hotel’s taxi rank - were helpful.
We had lunch at Hawksworth, this time three adults and two young children.
As always, nothing disappointed.
This month I had an hour to fill while my new iphone was being loaded with my data at Pacific Centre.
I thought I would head over and get a bar lunch at Hawksworth’s bar.

The location is great. What I really want to recommend is the service.
1. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable.
2. The Room Service is good too. staff are very friendly.
3. The In-Room Breakfast is good too, and many choices.
4. The gym and swimming pool is very clean.
5. I like everything about this hotel.
I really liked this hotel; especially my room (and gym) for this 5-night stay.
Check in: As always, it’s a struggle to get a room on a higher floor. And it’s even more difficult when you have no history, experience, or status with a particular hotel or hotel chain. Alas, I ended up on a lower floor. Not the end of the world, of course.
Room: The room was great. Another open concept king suite (not my favorite), but the design and layout were functional. Enough space to be pleasantly comfortable, but not too much space to make it challenging. I like suites, but they do not need to be huge. The room was clean, fresh-smelling linens, and towels of sufficient size and thickness. The bed worked out fine, the desk was spacious, the furniture in the seating area was in good condition and didn’t strain my back. :-) There was a separate, roomy shower; a water closet for the toilet (yea!); and a separate tub. There were two vanities in the bathroom; each on opposite sides of the bathroom.
Service: Front Desk was OK, but after check in, I avoided it. Not much better service at the Concierge desk (they had that “I’m bored answering the same question” attitude and couldn’t tell where there was a working ATM), but much, much better service in the bar area when we had tea and drinks later in the evening – very good, friendly service. I never had breakfast or dinner at the hotel restaurant so I can’t comment on their food or service in that area. I tried room service twice; it was edible, but not memorable. Housekeeping did a great job with the room. Absolutely no complaints there. I did like the nice touch of the fresh fruit.
Gym/spa area: I really liked the gym. Nice size, sufficient equipment, treadmills, and other items. It was never too crowded; and water and towels were always available.
Good location; could walk everywhere I wanted to go during this visit. I would return this hotel for the room and gym. Front Desk and Concierge service? Meh.
