1- the room - hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes.
2- the room was dirty. Sheets and bed is dirty , burnt marks on the sheets
Pillows are dirty. All of this cause my allergies to be bad.
3- the bathroom is clogged
4- the roof has leaks on it
When we got to the hotel. We couldn’t check it for 30 mins because the staff couldn’t find my reservation.
5- the staff said “It’s not 5 stars hotel “. I have stayed in 3 stars hotel before this hotel shouldn’t be 2 stars even.
The staff was so rude ... and treated us wrong. I work in customer service and clients should never treated this way.
Pay extra 10-20 dollars and stay somewhere safe and clean.

I was in the process of moving and needed somewhere to stay while I moved out of the city. The first bedroom had torn sheets, the bed was poor made, the curtains weren't hanging upright, the T.V. didn't work, the bathroom was dirty. All the appliances were so old, the chairs had stains, the hallway had trash littered and someone was smoking. I got moved to a room slightly better but while trying to move the night stand to charge my phone I found a dirty underwear. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Never again

Stayed at a hotel on Sep 18 and it turns out to be an avrage & smelly hotel. Won't recommend staying there are better options in the area with the same price. Try ignoring as hotel corridor smell so bad that you can not even walk to your room

The place is a joke. Looks like something out of the Bates Motel! No microwave or mini fridge in the room. Supposed to be a non smoking motel however the room smelled of weed. There was no cover on the ironing board, one of the lamps was missing a lightbulb and a switch. The curtains weren't properly on the track. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and cracked. The door handle was loose. It looked like a camera was on the front of the TV. I covered it with a paper bag. I complained to the front desk and they had someone spray Febreeze in the room. View was of the adjoining roof that had garbage, empty bottles and cans, cigarette butts and a running shoe. Asked why there was no fridge or microwave. Told those are on a different floor and the rooms are more expensive. Called hotels.com and demanded a credit for the crappy motel. Each time I left the motel, I took all my belongings with me and they locked me out of the room! Motel photos lie but travellers photos tell the story. The best part about the Marigold is the price. Spend a few dollars more and go to a much better place.
