We had booked in for a Spa weekend - Saturday to Sunday - based on a gift card we'd received. Sometimes these gift card packages are not very good value for the hotel, so I wasn't too sure if we would be treated like second-class guests, but that was put to shame. The booking experience (it had to be booked on the phone) was very helpful and friendly, and when we checked in, we really felt welcome. The receptionist explained where everything was and pointed out that it was normal to move around the hotel in bathrobes, then change for dinner.
Our room was very comfortable and clean, not too big but nice design, and a really comfortable bed. We had to open the window because we couldn't adjust the aircon ourselves, but it wasn't a problem. The view of the back of the hotel was not wonderful, but the hotel is located in woods and open grounds so it wasn't too bad either.
We enjoyed the spa facilities outdoors (two whirlpools, - and a sauna with events, which we didn't try.) then went indoors to the inside saunas, pool (small), steam room, and general relaxing area. Ice cold and warm pools, foot baths etc. Very pleasant and quiet, even though there were about 12 others at the same time. Signs tell you what to do or not do, to avoid confusion, and recommend you and others to keep the quiet atmosphere, which everyone respected.
Dinner was a four course gourmet dinner, with small courses and really good wines to go with it. The waiter was really helpful and friendly. The chairs and tables were dimensioned for tall Danes, which I didn't appreciate so much (had to sit on a cushion :-( ) but that was the only thing.
Breakfast was served until 11 and we could also use the spa right up until checkout the next day.
Again the checkout service was friendly. I would go back here for the good service and really relaxing experience. Even better than expected.
