i was waiting 30 mins in front of the door and nobody was opening, facilities are dirty, bed is very uncomfortable and had a strange smell - after all i cannot recommend to stay here at all, even if 30 GBP per a private room is dirty cheap in London.
location is fair, in a multicultural environment. transportation links are good enough.
It was a last minute thing for me and my 10 year old daughter, I was supposed to be staying at my Dad's in Edmonton, however my brother had nabbed the spare room.
I was lucky to get a family room for Saturday at such short notice. This was the closest place to N9 at just 20 minutes drive. It is just a terraced house with two guest rooms, no lounge but it has a clean smart kitchen. The owner was polite and gave me the key early so I could check when it suited me. The triple room was clean and bright with ensuite shower room. My daughter honestly loved that place, she was in no rush to leave the next day either, she wrote a lovely note to the owners promising to visit again. She loved the beds, the lamp and the shower. It was warm and comfy. There is street noise because it is central and on the main drag so urban noise pollution is to be expected . The kitchen was clean and bright, so was the decked roof terrace, quite cute according to my daughter. Our room was IKEA and so was the one opposite (clean, modern and sufficient for the £69 on a Saturday - by far the cheapest room for miles.
We were so shocked we drove our grandson home (1.5 hours, arriving12:30am) and paid out to stay at another hotel near his home ourselves after watching Spurs play. The building is not the one in this picture but a small terraced house next to a convenience store on a very busy street, the room was small and there was an overall smell. The room was fairly clean, as was the very compact en suite shower room but my grandson flatly refused to sleep here and my husband and I agreed. Noise and light from outside would have been an issue if we had tried to sleep here. On site parking turned out to be on street parking and there was only one space remaining at six pm. The credit card machine was 'not working' and we were asked to bring cash by phone before we even arrived! No wonder. A complete waste of £75 and a traumatised family.
dirty, poor to be generous....wouldn't stay again, cheap but so would be sleeping under the railway bridge.....and at least they sweep the streets !
Room was grubby, didn't wanna look at linen too much....shared bathroom well just nasty.
The whole place needs upgrading just to bring it in at poor....please spend more money and go elsewhere.....your thank me
