The Amulree was one of our pre-booked B&Bs in our self drive tour package. We received a very warm welcome by the owners and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. They were very informative regarding local attractions and where to eat - even being so kind as to make reservations for us. They are absolutely lovely and really went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable. The room was a good size and clean with a large bathroom. They also provide a wonderful breakfast with an abundance of choices. I should also mention that the location is perfect - approx. 10 min walk into town center.

My friend and I were traveling Scotland and staying in a series of pre-booked bed and breakfasts. The first one we stayed in was not very nice and we thought maybe that's what was in store for us for the whole trip. The Amulree restored our hope! Even though on the outside it looked just like other row house bed and breakfasts, in the inside it was very nice. Decorated in a soft sea foam green it was very relaxing and clean. The hostess was extremely accommodating and even offered to take us to town when I mentioned I had been driving all day and didn't want to drive anymore. The breakfast was delicious and served in a cute little dining room. Free wifi was a definite perk.

We stayed in this comfortable and ideally situated B&B for two nights. The room and the bathroom were very well equipped and absolutely clean - Nescafé, tea, cookies, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer etc. The beds were quite comfortable. Very nice and friendly welcome. It should be mentioned that the owners have a nice little dog ;-) Good Scottish breakfast (you can choose from a list what you wish the day before - e.g. Haggis, black pudding, different variations of egg etc.); special requests were completely fulfilled. Parking on the property in front of the B&B possible, although it is a bit narrow when there are two cars. Highly recommendable accommodation!

Mr and Mrs Caldwell, the owners were the most friendly and welcoming hosts you are likely to meet. They gave me room 2 (which was a double) for a very reasonable price. Everything was absolutely spotless and the cooked breakfast was as good as I have had in my life, with offers of extra eggs and a yogurt in addition to the hearty portions of everything I received. Mrs Caldwell even asked if I would like her private TV on to watch as I was eating my breakfast which was a nice gesture. I was under no pressure to vacate my room at 10am and my brief stay could not have been nicer. I would heartily recommend this excellent B&B for anyone who is looking for accommodation in Inverness.

We showed up here at the last minute due to a booking mistake by another B & B. The host and hostess were very accommodating and kind. The room (room 1) was nice and the bathroom was amazing! It's a short walk to the city centre and lots to do. The breakfast was excellent and very filling. I would stay he again.
