I write this as we wait for our flight at the airport. We have had an amazing few days here. Valter and his wife are amazing hosts and it was like spending the weekend with family. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean breakfast was great. Valter was very very helpful with local info and buses etc. I emailed before for information on how to get to the b and b with public transport and valters instructions could not have been more precise. Was fab! Infact he helped us a lot with getting around and information. Buses and metro are very accessible and Vatican City a short walk. Overall a fab stay would definitely recommend staying here.
We had such a lovely stay at the Romoletto B&b. The room was spacious, clean, and inviting. The breakfast provided each day was delicious and with lots of variety. The location, for us, was excellent. It was a short walk to many tourist attractions or quick train ride. The price was excellent. Valter, the host and Bella, his wife were so kind and inviting. We stayed over the holiday and they had a gift of a chocolate santa for my daughter (which she loved and still talks about). If we make it back to Rome we will be staying here again. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Romoletto B&B was the perfect place to stay for myself, partner and son while exploring Rome. Located within walking distance to the Vatican, it is also a 10 minute walk from the metro station and there is a bus stop a block away. This made other attractions easy to get to. Our host, Valter, and his lovely wife, Bella took great care of us. Valter answered all the questions we had and made us feel right at home the minute we arrived. It was truly like staying with family. Our room was spacious for all three of us, and included a balcony which was a nice touch. Our room, as well as the bathroom were sparkly clean thanks to Bella's hard work. Breakfast included fresh pastries that were delivered each morning and Valter made sure that breakfast was ready at whatever time worked best for us, depending on our itinerary for the day. I should mention that he also recommended a nearby restaurant, La Forchetta, run by a husband and wife, that was reasonably priced and served absolutely delicious food. I would definitely recommend Romoletto B&B to anyone planning a trip to Rome!
This b&b was absolutely amazing. From the moment we pulled up outside we were made to feel so welcome. Valter greeted us outside and helped us with our bags. Our room was perfect, larger than we had expected with a balcony and a/c, we were not expecting it to be so hot in September but it was upwards of 30 degrees so the a/c came in handy. Room had all the facilities you need and was extremely clean, tele/hairdryer/ mini bar, even spare plug adapters, Valter and his wife also provided us with an ironing board as and when needed. Our bath room was external but right next to our room and was huge, bath, shower, shelves for storage and Valters wife changed our towels daily for us. After we had gotten ourselves settled we headed into Rome. The Vatican City is around a 25 minute walk from Romoletto although there are buses every few minutes which take you right into the centre to all the main attractions. Breakfast was far more than expected from a continental and Valter had noticed that we hadn’t eaten the sweet pastries on our first morning so had gone out especially for cheese and meats for the next day, it was lovely. All in all our stay was perfect, perfect location! I could not recommend this place highly enough and the owners couldn’t do any more for you.
This B & B is owned by Walter and his wife and I honestly have never been as grateful to have met this couple. On the night of our stay we had parked our rental car around the Vatican City area but when we tried to return to my car, we were unable to locate it. We spent the next 5 hours walking around the streets trying to find the car, after trying to get help from the police we decided to book overnight accommodation and continue the search in the morning. I am so thankful that we choose to stay in the romoletto B and B. We only made the booking at 11pm that night and when we arrived at the B&B we had the most welcoming greeting from Walter and his wife despite only arriving at around 11:45pm they showed us the room and I honestly was amazed, the room contained all the essentials that you would need for any overnight stay and even had a packed mini fridge at fantastic prices. The room was so clean with lovely fresh sheets and towels. Walter and his wife were very accommodating to our needs and even was able to supply with us a tooth brush each, which I was so thankful for.
After explaining our situation to the couple Walter so kindly offered to drive us around the area we thought the car was the following morning, meaning I could go to sleep knowing that we had a better chance of finding it with his fantastic knowledge of the city.
The price of the overnight stay was absolutely fantastic as it even included breakfast. The breakfast service was great with a good selection to chose from, including fresh pastries. After breakfast Walter provided us with a map and asked us to explain in which direction we had come from and any details we had about the location of our missing car. Walter then drove us around, retaking the route that we had entered the city and with a bit of luck we eventually found the car.
I will forever be in debt to this couple as without their incredible hospitality and kindness I honestly don't know how I would have coped with my situation.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone and I will certainly be returning if I am in the area again. Thank you again for everything.
