Save your money and look elsewhere! I don't have any other hotel in Venice to compare this too, but this place was awful. We had to register in another building and then walk over to this hotel. Bags were taken up to our room which was dark, smelled bad and had no air. We didn't love being in Venice, and I honestly thing this contributed somewhat to it. We had a rough night's sleep both nights we were there because of the lack of air. It was so hot the two days we were there, and this smelly hot room was not a place we could resort to. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast was decent. although there was not breakfast in our hotel. We had to go over to the other building to ask what to do for breakfast, as there was no one at the reception desk in our building. Would 100% NOT stay here again.

I appreciate the historical building and the beautiful bathroom. The desk staff were very helpful too, but the room itself was very small and dark, especially when I got a glimps of the room across the hall. Kinda felt like being in the maids room while the king and queen were next door. Which brings me to breakfast. It doesn’t start until 7:30 am and desk staff at the building we stayed at maybe show up at 8. When breakfast wasn’t in the quaint area ajasent to the front desk, we followed other guests to the main building. Found a nice breakfast layout, served ourselves and were just bending over to sit down, when a “girl” demanded our room number, told us we were not in the right place and to leave our food to go to the right place “a more lovely breakfast”. Yea, not really, again there was a definite feeling of the pauper and the king. I hesitate recommending this place knowing there are so many high and low levels of rooms and dinning.

We stayed There 2 nights. They gave us different building. The building was back street of the Main hotel. The room was normal for 4 people including 2 kids. I asked them 1 Double and 2 single bed. But the Double bed was also 2 single, merged bed:))))
Area of hotel, cleaning and the workers was ok.! But the breakfast was poor.. But not too bad.!
Do not expect as 3 stars hotel..

We spent two nights in Venice, we chose this hotel, as we wanted to be in the centre of Venice. We got a lovely room, but we wanted a view of the canal, and the staff was friendly and very accomodating and upgraded our room to one of the front rooms. the hotel was quiet, very, very clean and well run. Excellent breakfast, and we had an amazing experience in Venice. Highly recommended, would defintely stay there again!

Room Tip: ask for the front room with a view! they might be slightly smaller but well worth it!

We stayed at this Hotel only for two nights before we had to board our cruise ship, but I would have stayed here forever! A beautiful old charm venetian style antique hotel with material walls! It so beautiful, from the antique bed and all the other antiques, But stile with excellent comfort! Bathrooms modern and all modern amenities in the room! We were on one of the many canals waking over one of the many beautiful bridges to our Hotel! The staff cater to our needs and were very helpful! Breakfast in a beautiful garden room, with a fulfilling breakfast! this is more a place for couples but very special. the Hotel is also very central to all the attractions! will definitely go back!

Questions & answers about the rooms

My husband and I stayed in a standard room with one European style Queen. The floor space was small for two people. We were in an annex on the ground floor. Perhaps the rooms are bigger in the main hotel. I would gamble and take the quad room.
