My husband and I stopped 2 nights in this cosy b&b: the place has a wonderful view over the hills towards Fiesole and Florence. The room is spacious, with a small and nice bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very friendly: it's nice to talk with them.
All the place is very silent, you can relax in the sun near the swimming-pool. A b&b where to come back
We stayed here for a couple of nights in September to visit Florence.
We slept in the yellow/red room and it was perfect. It was very spacious, clean and had a very good bed. It had everything we needed.
The view is extraordinary! You can enjoy it from the entire garden and also from the pool. By the pool there's a very nice lounging area. And since the house is on the south side of the hill, you can enjoy the sun all day long.
The hostess Mara is the sweetest! She really made us feel welcome and at home! She made us some really delicious bruchetta with tomatoes and basil from the garden so we could taste there own produced olive oil. We really loved it! (Our family also really loves the olive oil we brought home as a gift)
She also gave us a great tip for diner, a restaurant called Mario only a 2 minute drive away!
We really recommend this place!
Kind regards from Belgium, L & F
Just returned from a lovely stay at Farmhouse Olmo. Mara, Gianpierro, Billo and Cindi are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel perfectly at home and we didn't want to leave.
Fiesole is a 15 minute drive away, Caldine is 5 minutes away where you can catch the train for a 15 minute journey into Florence rather than driving and parking. Siena, Lucca, Pisa and the Chianti region are all less than 90 minutes drive.
The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The view is lovely and just says peace and quiet. There is a pool area which is great to lounge by if you're not exploring. Breakfasts are simple but good with fresh croissants, yoghurt with homemade jams and a great coffee machine. Mara would often give us nibbles in the evening like Bruschetta and a glass of wine. I recommend the pizza restaurant up the hill passed the hotel restaurant. Very good food, always busy with locals so you know it's good. Also recommend a restaurant in Fiesole called La Reggia degli Etruschi. Delightful service, food and great view.
We had a wonderful 10 days there made all the more special by Mara and Gianpierro who are very warm and lovely people as well as their dogs Billo and Cindi who are both just fabulous. Look forward to visiting again soon. John & Eva
This is a beautiful place with panoramic views overlooking Fiesole and Florence. Mara and her family were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very spacious with all our needs met. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, fresh coffee, fruit juices, yoghurt, warm croissants home-made jams and sweet cakes. The pool and the garden were great for sitting and relaxing with the wonderful views all around. You would need a car to get around. Fiesole is a 15-minute drive and you can get a bus there into Florence.
We loved this place and were sad to leave. We would highly recommend it.

We wish to praise Marta and her family for their warmth and generosity. This B & B is just 10 kilometers from Florence with an amazing view and a swimming pool. The rooms are large and very cosy, with every amenity you need. The breakfast is superb and suited to what you like, savory or sweet. We can only highly recommend this place and would definitely go back if we visited the area again.
