Just stayed the one night with my wife.
Room was very clean and well equipped, very comfy bed.
Lovely sitting room, with an amazing view of the sea.
Had a little accident on the way in; the wind blew me over and I cut my head. The manager could not have been more helpful
Social distancing guidelines followed very well
Top marks all round
Hotel very nice staff ,we had breakfast and dinner included as we were a tour group the food was good ,the bedroom was basic we did have seaview but didn't like the room but downstairs in bar area and lounge is nicely decorated
Great sea view , very old fashioned
hotel and is a 70's decor but I knew that when booked, staff very friendly ,breakfast was cooked well a bit skimpy but done the job.would stay again as sea view was outstanding from our room.
I’m going to start with some positives.
We arrived in stormy wind and relentless rain , a great location , the hotel was warm and dry . Public areas were welcoming,The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely ( at an extra cost of £8 each per night)
I had chose this hotel on the lovely big bay windows with table and chairs to sit and look at the sea views, as shown on their website . I booked a deluxe room with seaview ,that showed the exact kind of room that suited us .We knew the weather wasn’t going to be great on arrival but didn’t care as we were looking forward to watching the stormy seas from our window .
We was in for a shock , our room was on the top floor , very tiny , with 2 small windows with no room for a table or watching the waves unless you stand up and lean on the window .
The bathroom was very tiny and dated , all the furniture looked like stuff you might pick up from a car boot, very worn and chatty . The feel of the room reminded me of where somebody might have lived for years and never decorated and done any upkeeping . It was a very depressing looking room .
We had a 2 night stay and stayed out all day as couldn’t think of anything worse to come back to .
It might have felt like a different experience if we had a room advertised on the website . We personally wouldn’t return.
I booked this holiday last minute, spoke to Martin over the phone and he was very helpful. We stopped in 2 double rooms with a sea view, the view was fabulous, the rooms were clean. I found the staff to be very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfy ,and had 4 nights of good quality sleep. Breakfast was lovely, a good choice of different breakfast options, starters and plenty of toast. The staff at breakfast were really helpful and chatty. The bar area and particularly the sitting room is lovely, it’s a lovely area to sit and look at the view, the room looks newly decorated with new furniture. Would definitely return, we wanted to book an extra night we enjoyed it that much, but unfortunately they were fully booked.
