Just spent a night at this lovely B&B in Bude whilst walking the South West Coastal Path. Caroline and Peter made us feel instantly at home. The room was so cosy and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Thanks so much for being the perfect hosts. Highly recommended!

My husband and myself stayed here for 2 nights last week. We have stayed in many B&B's but I have to say that this has been the best! The owners were so welcoming we felt as though we'd known them for years. Our super king room was spacious and immaculate with a beautiful double shower bathroom. There were bathrobes and slippers for our use, as well as little touches like homemade biscuits, a jar of sweets, a fridge with fresh milk (not those little sterilised milk pouches) and a cafetiere to make 'proper' coffee. We had heard about their wonderful breakfasts and weren't disappointed! Will definitely go back and can highly recommend it!

Room Tip: We loved room 3 on the first floor which had views over the golf course and the sea at Crooklets...

We spent a great four days at Surf Haven (we would have stayed longer but they were full!) Our room was extremely clean and comfortable - all precautions had been taken to ensure we felt safe. We appreciated the thoughtful extras and particularly enjoyed Caroline's flapjacks! Caroline and Peter were perfect hosts and work as a team in ensuring guests are looked after and made welcome. The delicious breakfasts were cooked to order and we also enjoyed the fresh fruit and homemade preserves. Surf Haven is ideally situated for the town with its good choice of restaurants and also the beach and coastal walks. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Surf Haven if we have the opportunity.

This was our third stay with Caroline and Peter. This beautiful B&B is a real treat to get away from the hub and bub of everything life. It's perfectly placed, a 10 minute short walk from Bude town centre, a beautiful golf course across the road and a stone's throw from Crooklets Beach. Caroline and Peter couldn't do enough to make our stay more memorable. The luxurious spacey room, pristine bedding, dressing gowns and towels lends itself to 5 star hotel. The breakfasts are second to none and special diets are catered to beyond expectations. I am gluten free and this was no problem at all as gf cereals, sausages and biscuits were there for the asking. We stayed in room 2 overlooking the golf course with a stunning side view of Crooklets Beach. The bathroom is huge with a wonderful deep bath and a fabulous shower; accompanied by sumptuous St Kitt's toiletries. There are tasty home baked cookies every day alongside tea, coffee etc. There is also a handy little fridge to keep milk, fruit and cold drinks in. It's a super hotel for relaxing holidays on the beach, sightseeing and a favourite for walkers. Despite Covid restrictions we felt safe at all times and couldn't recommend this wonderful B&B enough. Thank you Caroline and Peter for another great stay. You really are the best of the best.
