We have made many happy returns to this magical place and our latest visit was no exception! The inn is located right on the beach with the most superb views across to Monkston Point.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming no matter how busy the bar, outside patio area and restaurant get. The food is good pub grub and the portions are enormous!!!! This year the bedrooms have had a refresh which has been very tastefully done - there are several rooms with excellent sea views - no 7 is our favourite! As with many places in the area the pub is very dog friendly. There are great walks to Amroth and Saundersfoot nearby. A definite must do place all year round!

We booked in on the Friday afternoon for a great weekend away, the staff were brilliant, we had a really nice room(6), comfortable big bed, lovely large bathroom and a sea view.
The breakfasts are huge, plenty on the plate and very filling, a good job we were doing some walking.
We had a fantastic 3 nights.

we have used wisemans bridge for 3 weeks for years but could not get in this year no dog allowed .......
that's fine it means I donot have to put up with drunk staff drink being loud just outside the flat every night shouting and acting like 2 year olds the pubs is very small and full of locals no space to sit
then theres the events room / dinning room / staff playground !!!
forget hearing the tv or settling your dogs for the night
the food has got worse year after year
the hole place needs some TLC
reported broken shower 3 years in a row and nothing had changed
socket that comes out the wall when you try to take the plug out
it would need to change hands before i go back

The location of this inn is perfect for exploring the fabulous beach and rock pools, and its easy to reach Amroth and Saundersfoot by foot. The Inn itself offers a varied menu and all the meals we ate there were of very high standard. The fishermans pie being my favourite. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was our room. We spent 2 nights in the family room consisting of 1 double and 2 single beds. All but 1 single bed made the most noises as soon as you even sat on them. Very squeaky and loud and the slightest movement seemed to disturb my partners sleep. The pillows were also on the lumpy side. The room itself was large with a lovely view of the sea, clean, and had ample refreshments. There was also a good choice of toiletries in the bathroom. the beds let this room down and really do need to be replaced in my opinion.
That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return, we just wont book the family room. !
