We stayed for 4 nights in Littariccia - Room Cannelle. Difficult to find words to describe this place....Amazing!!! Wonderful view and so so quite. Littariccia was all we needed for this days off. 5 minutes drive from Palombaggia beach and 10 from Tamaricciu. Just perfect! We'll come back, for sure!

The houses are situated 2 minutes from the main road to Palombaggia, with absoultely stunning views! And the road to go up is not that bad as people write. The pool-area is also very nice!

We very disappointed of the hospitality. We felt like the owner didnt like to have guests. Might be a misunderstanding since she only spoke french, and we only english...

We wanted to have dinner on our terrace one night, and asked to borrow some plates and glasses. What we got was plastic. There was a fridge in our room and space to eat outside, so maybe there should be some things in the room.

Breakfast was only bread and jam, with the possibility to buy eggs, ham and cheese.

We would love to come back for the place and view, but we are expecting more from a b&b of that price. (We payed €185 pr night in the Suite Lavande)

My sister had already booked our rooms at Littariccia for 3 days in October for 8 people (my sisters, nieces and one nephew) so I had not read the reviews prior to our stay. I just read a few before getting ready to post mine and I’m very surprised at some of the negative ones. Our rooms could not have been nicer. The beds were comfortable, the décor was lovely, and the bathrooms and showers were excellent. We noted much attention to detail such as the showers which, when turned on, immediately were at the correct temperature. The water pressure was just right and having a separate room for the toilet was a nice touch. I can’t speak to the breakfast as our rental didn’t include this. We did go up and get coffee a few times though and it was excellent.
We only did a minimal amount of cooking but it seemed that the kitchen was fairly well appointed. We loved the huge patio windows which allowed plenty of the outdoors to show and the stone work all around was just beautiful.
Driving to the beach seemed to be the best option. Although a path was mentioned, I don’t think there was a good way to walk to the beach without some driving.
The owners were very welcoming and gracious. Our stay was lovely and the only caveat I found was the driveway. We had no problem driving up it but were greatly relieved that there was no rain while we were there as that may have made it a bit treacherous.

Property is lovely with a scattering of cottages and a main house. We stayed in the Almond Room which was large, spcaious and had everthing we needed. The decor was charming. There were stunning views to the sea from the terrace. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the other guests were also very friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious and served on the terrace of the main building which again had stunning views. We we out most of the day so did not try the pool or spa area but they lookd nice.

The property is remote which will have pros and cons depending on what you are looking. It is good for the beaches of Palombaggia and there are local restaurants nearby.

There were only two real negatives for me at this property were the road and the mosquitos. The road (really a badly damaged dirt track) to the the place is awful and rather difficult to navigate. The mosquitos levels were high (acknowledged by the owner as they had had more rain this year) and they seemed to like me a lot - I would advise taking repellent with you!

After reading mix reviews, my husband and I decided to take our chance and booked at Littariccia. When we arrived, the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The whole staff was always polite and friendly. We had the Almond room which have a very nice scenic view. Our stay included breakfast, which consist of freshly baked baguette and homemade marmalade. That was really good. We went during the cold season so we are limited on activities available to do. However, there is a really nice scenic hiking trial nearby that my husband enjoys each day. Overall, it is a great trip for us! We will definitely come back to this B&B!!!
