We had booked a "mountain view" room through the most common booking platform. Upon arrival, we were dumped by the hostess in a cave with a tiny window facing the parking lot and the road. No mountain view whatsoever.
Upon complaining about the inaccuracy of our booking, we were at first lied to saying our booking platform had made the description and they were not liable for it (untrue).
We could annul the booking within an hour with the help of said booking platform and would now like to WARN everybody not to come here.
There are appartments with balconies facing the backside of the house (these photos are shown on the many platforms), but most appartments and rooms face the parking lot/road. For now (June 2017), there is construction going on on the backside, so these appartments are either not given to tourists or would in any case likely not be enjoyable. Also, calling the view of a slope behind the house "mountain view" is daring.
Staff was extremely unfriendly with us faced with our complaint, and wanted to deny any responsibility even though we had French language written confirmation and documentation of our booking. At least they immediately agreed to annulment at no cost.
This trully is a bad roadside motel, with the noise and dirt of the road.
The pool might be a nice touch, but we were not shown to it.
Nice pool, large clean room (the 4-bed-room). The location is a bit off, but easy to find and with a car you easily reach the town and the beautiful beaches (Palombaggia is fantastic!). Reception only speaks French and Italian. Did not try the breakfast (9 euros). Small refeidgerator in the room.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Room was clearly renovated recently, seemed new. Very clean and silent. We had a balcony facing the pool. Pool was wonderful to swim in after a hot day. Pool area was kept very clean also. The lady in a hotel also did our laundry free of charge which was really nice plus. There was no safety in the room, but you were able to leave your valuables at the reception. The one thing worth mentioning was the door leading to the balcony. It was really small, and you needed to bend and crawl to get threw it to balcony. Like a midget door. Also no windows, if you don't count the balcony doors. Also toilet window didn't have curtains and you could see a family grilling etc through it, so I think they could also see you in the toilet. The lady working in the hotel was very nice and friendly. They don't speak English here.
Stayed at this hotel for one night before our rental started. It was exactly what we were looking for
-remodeled room and bathroom
-large balcony ( need to bend to access the balcony, kids loved it)
-very good french breakfast
-lots of parking space
-the sign that says"casa di mama" is difficult to see at night
-the very nice lady speaks french (and italian and corsican)..not much english
-no elevators but easily accessible from the back door if you're on the first floor
Very happy with our one night stay. Would recommend it to friends and family
