Been in hotel Kurz in the period 30.03 to 06.04.2019 with a group of friends.
Absolutely stunning nature around and we experienced at least 3 sunny days enjoying the ski slopes. And I must say - stunning view form my room window to the sunrise and the mountains. The rooms were very spacious.
As a former hotel professional with 22 years of experience, I find some of the standards and services pretty odd. For example the few sheets of paper they give you on check in - with their rules, and mainly what`s forbidden and what extra charges you have to pay.
The Hotel is perfectly located near to the Funivia, 4chair lift and the 8person gondola, but is hughely lacking technical maintenance. The rooms need rather urgent renovation, especially the bathrooms and carpets.
The fact that they give you just one key per family room of 4 pax is quite an issue.
The ski storage is located in the basement, but there is no direct access to elevators, i.e to the rooms. The door of the place is always open, so it is always very cold. The ski boots heater is with limited spaces, so i could not use it.
The spa area is newly renovated and quite nice, but they forbid you to bring towels from the room (I guess also some personal one), they ask you to pay for one instead - 2 euro each visit. For using their lockers you have to carry in your swimming suit another coin of 2 euro...so in other words not very user friendly.
But all and all we were quite happy of the vacation spent. A very memorable one!

This hotel is located in very good place especially if you want to have skiing late in the spring.
However it is not enough. Customer experience might be even more important than the location. Here it is my experience... you decide...
➡️We were welcomed in hotel Zirm with long list of “rules” of the hotel and “punishment” if something is broken or lost.
➡️Then family of 3 people should live in the hotel with 1 key for the room and 1 key for ski wardrobe packed together. Very inconvenient especially if you move around separately... and we have a kid at 3.... We asked for second key but they refuse...
➡️Whatever you want to use have a price, of course, but it comes on top - 2€ for this, 5€ for that... and so on. Too boring for me.
➡️In the restaurant food was good however waiters take away your plate while you’re still eating ...
➡️And finally - the animation for kids. Available 10-12 am and 15-18 pm. If I want to have skiing it is not an option. At all.

So, after a week there we get back home with very mixed feelings: location was good, sloops were perfect, time with friends was great but.... a bitter taste in the mouth....
Or in other words: I was not relaxed, somehow I felt the opposite.

The location is amazing and the ski slopes are fantastic. One of the most beautiful places for skiing in April. The glacier is at 3000m altitude and offers many lifts and ski slopes for all levels .
On the other hand the hotel was a star long long ago.It needs renovation. The facilities are strangely organised.Ski locker is up the hill, so after ski you have to walk up the hill almost 1/2 km.
At check in you get a card for every thing you want to buy -the problem is its only one.The key for the room and the ski locker only one! Imagine how convenient is that when you have small kids and have to slit .For example I have to ask the reception to open my room at night because my wife is already sleeping with the kid?!

The rooms are spacious and seem to have everything needed but bathroom floods every time you take a shower, brown water runs from taps. The room is very dark and the lights not enough.

You have to pay 5 Euro for bath robe?! Its not in your room. You have to carry 2 Euro for locker ate the spa/swimming pool .

The staff on the other hand was polite and very helpful .

Response from BluhotelsAssistenza, Manager at Blu Hotel Senales
Responded 12 Apr 2019
Dear Guest, it is appreciated that you spent time writing a review regarding your stay at Blu Hotels Senales, our property in Maso Corto. Guests’ opinions are very important to improve quality and efficiency of our services. We are sorry you weren’t totally satisfied with your stay, nevertheless we think we may be able to reply to some of your concerns. The Blu Hotels Senales has a mountain-style furnishing type, usually very appreciated by our guests. The property itself is renewed seasonally with maintenance works. We only give one key card for every room. An extra card can be received upon request with a deposit payment (that will be released if the key’s not lost). Many guests usually lose their key card and it is not affordable to provide every guest with more than one card. Rules and regulation for our wellness centre (including the bathrobe payment) are widely available on our website and in the e-mail you received during the booking process. We are glad, anyway, you appreciated our rooms, very large and functional, and the politeness and attentiveness of our staff. Hoping to see you again at Blu Hotels Senales or in one another of our over 30 properties all over Italy. Best regards.

Our overall feeling from this hotel was quite positive despite chaotic check in, labyrinth corridors and used hotel equipment. When you get use to older look of this place and confusing placement of hotel amenities then you find out some kind of hidden beauty of this property.
Hotel and restaurant staff was great, Italian food was awesome. Animation team was friendly and fun. Room was equipped soberly, bed was comfy, bathroom with shower always clean.
And view - just amazing. Big mountains allround and fresh air.
We can only recommend!

Hotel has really nice location. Rooms in the hotel are spacious but may seem a bit old. Family room for the family 2+2 is really enough and there is not much to complain.
Meals were amazing, nice bar and very nice animations for kids and adults:) After whole day skiing you could leave the kids in the kids club and enjoy a moment of silence.
