Not very modernly but all in all it was very good. The service was very friendly, they have parking spots. The room was clean, we had no problems at all. The wifi was in our room a bit poor at some corners.
The Breakfast was very good, i can absolute recomend it. Bacon, eggs, cheese, fruits and a lot of more good stuff. They have also a coffee automat with good coffee.
They have their own cozy restaurant, with a lot of different good wines. In the near are more good Restaurants. Only some meters away.
I can recomend it, and would go there again.
I stay in this hotel for 2 night and need absolutely and urgently to be restored
Staff not able to issue one invoice in the morning
Absolutely nice and smiling lovely 😊 but hotel need urgent restore job
Good parking for free
Price in my opinion too high
For this price I expected a better service and more spacious room.
Receptionist seemed to be really bored at the arrival. Found some hair in the bathroom.
Additionally, it was really noisy in the early morning as the walls are pretty thin.
WIFI signal was poor.
In conclusion, the hotel was ok, but they have to improve some points.
Situated on Kaisetstrasse, Reutlingen, less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station the hotel has been operating successfully for the past 16 years. The establishment continues to go from strength to strength and little wonder! It comprises of 50 rooms, catering for double/twin & sole visitors.
The whole building sparkles from top to bottom, thanks to the hard work of Anna & Christina, who hoover, clean and scrub the place daily.
The Patri family has instilled its own strong work ethic, its friendliness and its sense of pride and humour on the building. Pino, ably assisted by his lovely Neapolitan wife and her father, along with brothers Stefano and Salvatore (every time I hear that name I am transported back to Italia '90 when the Irish soccer team qualified for the quarter finals of the World Cup competition. Our dreams were shattered by a certain Signor 'Toto' Scillaci, whose single goal sent 'Jack's Army' back home to join in the heroes welcome that those who had been glued to television sets all over the country for that period), run a very relaxed, smooth and professional operation. Not forgetting the 'consultant maître Di' Giovanni whose hosting skills are second to none.
The hotel restaurant 'Incontra' serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The decor of the room is classy and all of the food served is immaculately presented, top quality and plentiful.
The kitchen has a separate pizza section. These are baked to perfection. The pizzas are very popular with both locals and visitors.
We have really enjoyed our four-day stay. In the immortal words of Mr Schwartzeneggar, 'We'll be back!'
If Carlsberg did hotels........!
Reutlingen is conveniently situated on the edge of the Black Forest, about 90 minutes from the French border and an hour from Lake Constance (Bodensee) and the Swiss Border. The city of Stuttgart is just 20-30 minutes away by car or train.
I recently visited Reutlingen for the first time in 20+ years, I went back for a college reunion at the nearby university. When I lived in Reutlingen as a student I always imagined that a hotel like this would always be out of my league. After all, who could afford to stay in a "Hof" (court).
So the first opportunity to go back I booked a room at the Hotel Reutlinger Hof and wasn't disappointed. The staff at reception were welcoming and friendly; even though there was a small wait for the room to be ready it was not unreasonable and the comms were good. The room itself was clean, the shower was nice and powerful. Best of all was the great breakfast, included in the price of the room which itself was very reasonable.. Breakfast wasn't the usual German fare. In addition to the usual cold meats and cheeses, there was salmon and patés (Leberwurst) and a wide selection of cereals and cold drinks. Even though we overstayed our welcome in the restaurant because we were too busy reminiscing (breakfast finished at 11am), the staff made no attempt to ask us to leave so they could prepare the next sitting.
The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town, near the Hauptbahnhof with regular connections to Stuttgart and nearby Tübingen; there's also a bus station just 2 minutes walk from the hotel to get you around town.
I look forward to my next visit to the Hotel Reutlinger Hof and would recommend for anyone going to Reutlingen to stay there.
