Our room was fab, the biggest bed I’ve seen, lovely bathroom, beautiful views. Christine was the perfect host, as others have said, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent hospitality tray, added bonus of fridge on the landing to keep our drinks cold. Breakfast was amazing, beautifully cooked with fresh fruit salad every day and top quality jams , marmalade and local honey. Ben got eggs off the farm! Location brilliant for Harrogate, skipton, rippon, Hawes.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, my friend and I stumbled upon this warm and friendly farmhouse bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much bother forChristene, the owner, even down to providing some toothpaste. The view from our twin room was breathtaking! With the gentle sound of sheep and their lambs. Our breakfast was very filling and provided well for my vegetarian needs. This was only a short visit, however I will certainly return and explore more.
Big thank you for putting us up at short notice.
Tracy, Louth

This is a beautiful traditional farmhouse B&B set in a wonderful location. Rooms were very luxurious and comfortable. Cafetières in each room with shortbread, fresh milk in the fridge and lovely toiletries. The breakfast was superb. Freshly cooked and very friendly service. Home from home. A fabulous weekend. Thank you.

Have just left the wonderful Christine at Scaife Hall Farm after having an excellent trip to Yorkshire. The accommodation was top notch, really homely and in keeping with the type of building. The room had everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern with a powerful shower. There was a good selection of teas and coffees, including ground coffee and a cafetiere, and yummy biscuits. The room included ample storage for clothes and footwear, a TV/DVD, bedside lamps, alarm clocks and a big mirror on a dresser. Christine gave us a key to the main door so we could come and go as we pleased.

Breakfast was amazing. We could help ourselves to cereals, granola, dried fruits, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, and there was also fresh figs, prunes, and peaches and grapefruit. The hot food was excellently cooked, and mum ordered locally smoked kippers one morning which I was told were delicious. There was a large selection of locally made preserves, honey and table sauces, and we also had toast. Couldn't have asked for more, and the breakfasts kept us going for most of the day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely BnB to anyone, although as it's in an old farmhouse if you have mobility issues I would give Christine a call to discuss as there are stairs up to the rooms. I would love to revisit the area again and will definitely be staying at Scaife Hall Farm again. Thanks so much to Christine for making our stay so pleasant.

Fabulous stay! Beautiful setting surrounded by sheep. Cosy, comfortable and clean rooms, lovely sitting room and the best Yorkshire breakfast. Christine couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, even accommodating my odd diet!
