The hotel was very hard for our satnav, which is only 1 yr old, to find, it did not recognise any of the addresses on the website, finally tracing it as Autoroute des Deux Mers, but not before we had been directed back onto the motorway, resulting in an extra 38 mile trip and a second charge at the péage! We finally arrived at about 8.15pm, a very unfriendly receptionist on duty, who fired machine-gun French at me without a hint of a smile, and seemed annoyed when I asked a question about the restaurant which she had apparently already answered! The restaurant was only open until 8.30(!), and as there was no other eatery to be seen nearby, and we did not dare venture out onto the maze of roads to find anywhere else, we had a mad rush to put our bags in our room and get to the restaurant! However, despite a very restricted menu, the food was nice and the waitress very friendly. Our room was very disappointing, small, not very clean (spiders and webs around the window, dirty marks on the walls), the toilet flush handle was broken and would only flush sometimes. The shower would only aim directly at the opposite wall, and as there was no sill, the water ran straight off onto the bathroom floor and out into the bedroom next to the bed! We had to use one of the towels to mop it up. I left a note in the room to this effect. The window catch was also not very good.
The public areas of the hotel were very nice, as were the restaurant and breakfast room, but our room (62) was run down and in need or repair!
Of all the Ibis Budgets we have stayed at, this is the only 1 I have ever left a negative review for!

Ibis Budget offers clean rooms close to the highway for a decent price, just what you need when you arrive in the evening and leave in the morning.
Room is comfortable enough, bathroom is clean, bed is good.
Breakfast was OK and people are friendly.

We stayed here night after a long drive from from the channel port WOW what a disappointment the greeting was non existent the room just what you expect but worse but it had a bed and a bath which is what we needed.
After a visit to Agen we returned to the hotel and booked an evening meal What a mistake they offered two options, both shipped in from outside sources and served under hot lights to keep it warm
it wasn’t it was just lukewarm and tasteless
The sweets were served cold but once again awful and lacking flavour It was also ridiculously expensive for what it was,low quality food.
We had little choice since restaurants in the locality were either closed or too far to walk.
Breakfast matched the evening meal in its lack of quality
We realise that budget hotels are very basic but this place was way below basic and worth a miss

Easy to find the hotel, just off the motorway. Great for a one-night stop between Barcelona & Cherbourg. Very comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast was excellent value for money. A great stopping place.

Stayed one night as a stopover. Not the best Ibis I've been in. Seemed old and tired. The room I had was ok but the en-suite was below par with black mold on the walls. Breakfast was ok . Room price was good.
