Stayed there for a night and 2 days, the best part in this hotel is the management, they give you the best service and the best food one can expect in Goa with the best price. The location is perfect for a beach lover , a 2 min walk to the beautiful arambol beach. There's parking facility also.
Just make sure you talk to the hotelier before booking the rooms , it's better and we'll be clear about the facilities as there are many types of rooms like budget room, deluxe room etc.
Stayed at this place for 3 days from 21st October to 24th October, 2017.
Our booking was a Deluxe AC Room which were the costliest of all. We were hoping ours would be the one with the balcony but front desk refused us one saying they were booked! Then, why confirm booking the room booking when the same cannot be given to the traveler? :)
Hotel El-Paso is located right next to Arambol beach parking area / near Kinara Restaurant. The hotel is stone throw away from Arambol beach which is the biggest positive.
Room were pretty cramped with hardly any space left to walk around after luggage is offloaded. Room service is slow. Wifi is only around the router. Less or limited coverage.
Enough parking space available for 3 to 4 cars. No shelter or inside parking available. Cars have to be parked in open air.
We did not try at their in-house restaurant but the morning tea was well prepared.
Hotel management claim they are new to this place. They were however friendly and helpful when we needed directions or arrange a bike for rent.
All in all, Hotel El-Paso is budget hotel for travellers looking to stay near the clam and pristine Arambol beach with basic amenities.
I have visited this pace from 24th to 26th Jan'16 with family. The hotel staff is not co operative & lags basic facilities. It was really painful experience even after paying the cost no services given....e.g. Hot water....geyser not working in the room.
Moreover cleanliness in the hotel is also an issue..... cleaned only once in the morning & after that no room cleaning even after request & follow up.
No power back up in this area....if electricity goes....feel the heat.
Only positive point of this hotel is its nearby beach...5 mins walk distance.
If you travel with family....avoid this stay....bachelors may enjoy.
i had booked an AC room, but the room wasn't that great as compared to the price charged.
Room is small, congested and barely space to walk and keep luggage.
Also, there were lots of Mosquitoes.......
We booked El Paso after finding it looked quite nice on an online portal. However, the room we were given was nothing like what we saw online, and despite much debate with the owner at 3am, that's all we had to make do with. I'm told that the rooms on the first floor are slightly better and have a balcony, but the remaining rooms are very basic and don't really seem worth the tariff. I think this is a problem with Arambol in general. There isn't any particularly great accommodation, and average accommodation is overpriced. Like this place. Rooms are stuffy, rather dull, with beds that aren't particularly comfortable. Some just face a wall and a dump.
The only pluses are that you're a minute away from the beach so you don't have to spend too much time in the hotel.
Also the hotel will serve you beer even late at night.
They organise rental bikes for you as well. The staff is friendly to foreigners but indifferent to Indians. That's not to say they don't do what you ask them for.
In general, it's probably the among the better hotels you'll find in Arambol, but if you're used to a certain standard of living, it's not much. You can find FAR better accommodation in places like Ashwem, or Vagator further south for the same rates.
