Large, air-conditioned huts with en-suite (hot!) shower and toilet. Clean resort with competent, efficient and friendly staff. Good breakfast and nice sun-beds. Great choice for a stay on the beach at Palolem.
Sea facing huts have superb view. Staffs and service are excellent. Food quality is great. Excellent location.Very calm place which will give you peace of mind.
Please carry Odomos with you when travelling or staying here. Lots of mosquitoes while sitting outside your room.
Overall a very good place to stay.
These huts were very Nice, obviously they're beach huts so don't expect a luxury hotel room but we stayed in quite a few different huts in Goa and these were among the best.
Staff were very good and the on site restaurant was also very good. The resort is constantly being cleaned and is thus well maintained. Right on the beach with sun beds and at the quiet end odmf palolem so well chilled but close enough to stroll to other bars and restaurants and the busier end of the beach which is massive.
If you're going to Goa you won't go far wrong booking one of these huts.
The sea view room above the bar is great, you can see and hear the sea from your bed! The shower, a.c. and WiFi all work well. The cocktails are not being pushed on happy hour 2 4 1 like the rest of the beach, instead they're simply half the price (200 rupees ) which is indicative of the honest wholesome approach of this hotel. Breakfast is basic but adequate, other meals are reasonably priced & very good.
The beach is awesome, beautiful and peaceful, yet plenty of shops & bars nearby.
The staff are great, always smiling and ready to help, especially Yash very helpful and polite, sometimes forgetful rather like Manuel if you ever seen Faulty Towers ;-)
I would definitely recommend both Cafe blue & Palolem for a few days beach break.
We then arranged a sea transfer to Agonda, incorporating Dolphin spotting on the way, perfect!
Me and my husband went to Goa last year to enjoy our marriage anniversary and had booked a non seaview AC room online. We reached Dabolim Airport, took a private car & drove it to Palolem Beach. On reaching there, we called the hotel staff after parking the vehicle. The hotel is right on the beach, however to reach hotel, had to walk from parking area on side and aprox 300-400 metres away. The hotel staff was very friendly and arranged to take our luggage from there and we walked across the gorgeous beach to the hotel and to the room.
The rooms were basically shacks, made of wood and had stayed at such a place for first time and was a wonderful experience. The room had all the amenities, had a washroom, had hot water water supply and was spacious and beds covered by mosquito nets.
The hotel had a nice restaurant facing the sea, with benches and stools and trees on side, breeze flowing accross the sea giving authentic Goan feel. They had a small collection of books, where you can sit and read and enjoy the view and cool breeze.
In front of the hotel, they had chairs with towels and umbrella giving shade and you could easily sleep and enjoy the sunshine.
Palolem beach being in South Goa is relatively quieter than North and hence great place to relax.
Nearby the hotel and on the backside, they are lots of restaurants, where can enjoy the great Goan food.
So, in overall, I enjoyed my stay at hotel Cafe Blue and Palolem Beach :)
