Roberto was a great host. It's understandable that the visit was during holiday but for a hospitality industry it would have been ideal to have skeleton staff available to attend to everyday room and outdoor service.

The room I stayed in was excellent and clean. The view of Table mount and City at night is beautifully and they have a excellent breakfast with the best omelette in Cape Town. Parking for cars could be better but not a issue

A spacious room which was very well appointed, clean with a balcony and view, the room was secure and private. There was parking on site and easy access from the freeway, nothing significant within walking distance so one would need to hire a car to get around and explore. Welcoming hosts and a delicious breakfast served.

What an unexpected surprise. Our travel agent booked me into another establishment, but as they were overbooked I was re-routed to Capo Cabana. Greeted warmly by first name when I arrived by a smiling and friendly Mariette. Taken to my room which was spacious and comfortable. Dinner is placed in your room, which is equipped with a microwave. This means you can eat when you want to in the comfort of your room or outside at the table and chairs which is provided for your comfort is you are a smoker. The establishment has a hotel bouquet on DSTV. Heaters and aircons provided for cold nights.

What makes this establishment such a delight, is the small attention to detail. A little fan on your toilet roll, your heater being put on before you arrive in the evening, friendly staff, homely atmosphere, etc.

Breakfast and dinner was scrumptious. They have an absolute star for a chef. It's been a while since I have enjoyed guesthouse food this much. Do have dinner when you are there.

You have a small bar fridge in your room which is stocked. These can be added to your room. Alternatively, if you are a wine lover, ask Maria or Mariette and they will gladly provide.

This will definitely become my regular stay over in Cape Town when I am there on business.
