Staff, decor and pool area are the best! Unfortunately sleep was disturbed by night roadworks on Pitt st directly outside our bedroom window that went all night & continued into the next day. Apparently, hotel receives no warning but there is a sign on the front counter that apologises for intermittent disturbance due to this so, knowing this, I would suggest the hotel, where possible, allocates guests to rooms that do not face Pitt st just in case. There were plenty of these rooms available when we stayed. Also, roof-top pool area is fabulous but food is dominated by over-priced fried food. What a shame as lovely place to unwind. Suggest broadening menu so guest can make the most of this fabulous setting.

Dear Sharon B, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, we are delighted to know that your enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar area, our art deco features and the service our staff provided during your stay. We have taken your feedback on board and are currently working through multiple channels to ensure that we minimise the impact the Metro Station construction works will have on our guests during their stays moving forward. We are in close contact with Sydney City Council and are ensuring that we are able to communicate and manage the impact when works are occurring to avoid disturbance to our guests in the future. We have also taken on your feedback about the menu at the Level 7 bar. Our chefs are currently working on a revamp add some fresh additions to the current offerings. Once again, thank you for your feedback we always strive for continuous improvement to what we currently offer and it is only through feedback like this that we are able to make the changes necessary to continuously raise the bar here at The Primus Hotel Sydney.
