Lovely service I booked for two nights but only used 1 night and got a refund with out me asking xx
Bed very comfy. Very clean rooms staff couldn’t do enough especially when covid restriction bar was booked out so we got wine glasses and a plate so we could enjoy our room
I would rate this motel as minus 5 stars if I could. Very misleading and deceptive pictures on their website. We thought that we had booked a BEAUTIFUL suite with all the trimmings. When we arrived to our disbelief we booked a room from hell.
It was attached to a pub with very grabby, dinghy, smelly room. The worst I've been in 30 years of travelling. The following morning we went for a walk and then realized that the Astor suites were next door in a separate apartment block. Totally deceiving the guests.
My husband asked for a tax invoice and they refused to offer one until 10am. We were leaving well before this. I believe that this practice is illegal and we will be complaining more. This is a disgraceful motel. I beg people not to go there.
Good clean room. Well appointed. Bed ok. Modern design. Nice bathroom. Two televisions. Comfortable sofa. Plenty of space. Will stay again. Check in pleasant. Parking limited. Reasonable location at end of town. A bit noisy overnight - yelling from passers by in the street until the wee hours.
The room I stayed in was from the 70s and probably hadn't been touched since then. Flacking walls, wind whistling through every crack, old dark bathroom and that is a loose term. Needs demolition. To it's credit the bed was comfortable and the AC worked, which was needed to warm up the place considering the wind. Beside the hotel, so convenient. It was literally just a place to sleep so wasn't banking on much, and wasn't disappointed there.
Not a bad place for overnight stay, rooms are above average, suites are new and good, but there is no food or kitchen close after 9:30pm which can be quiet difficult considering the fact that it is a pub.
