Customer service very good. Clean swimming areas, gardens. They could do with more variety of activities and food.

What can you say about this hotel, It does everything so well. Just got back, stayed in room 112, lovely room, great bathroom, balcony overlooking side of hotel ( not most picturesque view but good anyway). Breakfasts good, drinks very good (thanks Nikos for great cocktails and laughs), a Very Well Run Hotel, spotlessly clean everyday, fantastic pool, plenty sunbeds, very friendly staff and management who care about your holiday. We will be back again for a third time next year, thank you Anesis, well done, again.

My wife, our son & I stayed for 12 nights beginning of August.
Stayed in many many hotels within Ayia Napa & Protoras over the last 20 odd years & this year decided to book the Anesis as the reviews were good & the hotel was cheaper than all the rest.

Good Points:

Hotel very clean
Pool nice & always managed to get a sunbed.
Also we asked before arrival a room with sunbeds on balcony & they delivered :-)
Location absolutely perfect

Bad Points:
As seasoned travellers, we understand the importance of hiring a safe in the room & did so.
However, my son left small change on the table (only 9 euros) & we didn't bother putting in the safe.
My wife & I laughed that we better cover over with a sun-glass case as we don't want the maid to think it had been left out as a tip!
When we returned, some of the money was missing & although the amount was very small, I was annoyed as this was my son's money & this was the FIRST time the room had been cleaned.

We reported to the reception & when the manager was back in, we were asked to come down & see her.
Too be completely honest, I wasn't convinced she was totally bothered & did not go out of her way to ensure us otherwise.
From that point onwards, we did not get our room cleaned unless we were present.

The food is probably the worst I have ever ate in any hotel EVER!
Everything completely over cooked, hardly no choice & definetly not what you expect from a 3 star hotel.

You can swap your evening meal for a lunchtime but then you have to pick from a smaller different menu (weird)

We were given a voucher for luntime meal for the next day as we arrive late at night & missed our evening meal.

Unfortunately this voucher. wasn't for the main menu, not even the smaller menu.
This was for only 4 items (how tight is that)

The majority of the staff all were miserable & not friendly at all.
Im not sure this is because we made a complaint but they all come across as being rude & unapproachable.

Just to explain how bad our stay got, we checked out 2 days early & moved to the Nestor hotel for the final couple of days.

The difference between the 2 hotels is frightening, although only 1/2 a star rating.
The food is presented nicer, more selection & the staff are so so polite & approachable.

Anesis may be cheaper than the rest but in the end, you get what you pay for!!

Lack of manners & staff politeness/rudeness should not be at any hotel

Anesis need to address this situation asap

Dear Mr. Washo There is one plain reason as to why the guests did not enjoy their stay and that it entirely of their own doing. From the time they arrived they were very rude to just about every member of the staff they came across for no apparent reason. Management did everything in their power to make their stay as pleasant as possible but nothing was appreciated. We pride ourselves on our staff friendliness and this is one of our biggest selling points as posted on all travel sites and it is there for all to see. For a 3 star hotel we also believe that the food quality is very good and this is also reflected in the reviews. The rest of the guests’ complaints are unworthy of commenting upon. Kind Regards

Our first stay at this wonderful hotel and we could not fault it one little bit. We were on a B&B board and the breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh and plentiful including eggs bacon sausages beans toast fried potatoes fried tomatoes hams cheeses cakes fruit cereals and more. Juices tea coffee it was superb. The pool was immaculately clean and a joy to use. Loads of sun beds and umbrellas for everyone. The pool didn’t open until 10am as they cleaned and added fresh chemicals every day. No mad rush to put towels down as everyone got a bed whenever they arrived at the pool. Our room (229) was huge and again it was fantastic. Really big room, huge bathroom with brilliant power shower, plenty of storage room and large balcony. Fresh towels every day and the room was kept spotless. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. 100% recommended this hotel to anyone and we will definitely return next year without doubt. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that are nowhere near as good as The Anesis.

Just came back from Anesis. Stayed there 10 nights, the housekeeping cleaned room every morning! The hotel is new and clean. We had a very big balcony where is nice to sit in the evening.
Only we didn't not like same breakfast all 10 days but the dinner was always different and meat was perfect. Also we checked out early morning and forgot to ask for lunch box, but the staff though about us, and prepared lunch boxes. The place of hotel also is a benefit. It's in the city center and close to the beach.

All rooms are renovated. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style. During lunch we have a la card. There are standard pool view rooms standard inland views. All superio rooms face the pool. Family pool view and family inland view. Superior rooms have bigger balcony with sunbeds as well as family pool view rooms.

Hi, I’m stopping at this hotel in September 2018, how do I request a room with a shower and bath?
Answer from K.W
Jun 2018 |
Hi Nicola, I’m not sure whether they offer both a separate shower and bath. I had a walk in large shower which was clean and modern. I would personally email the hotel direct and ask if they offer this facility. “Happy Holidays”
