This is the third time I have stayed at these apartments. The Penthouse has amazing views, the Basement is cosy and good for sharing with Friends. This time we stayed in a one bedroomed apartment in the new block. Excellent base for exploring Prague.. very clean and well furnished, Vladimir is Excellent and very helpful with hints and tips on how to get about and good places to eat. We look forward to staying again .
We stayed here for 3 nights in the A3 type apartment and we loved our stay at the place. The reception lady Katerina took great care of us during our stay there and was very helpful in working out the places to visit and things to do.
The place itself is a walking distance from the nearest tram/bus point "Pod Karlovem" and from there you can easily get connections for any part of the city like the train station, airport, Charlie bridge etc.
The room was spacious for the 3 of us and had a fully equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were clean with hot running water and the facilities you would expect of a good 3* apartment.
The room also had a attic style space with a bed placed there as well - which was a bit of a nice touch to the good old days and we had a nice time climbing up there and snuggling in during our stay :-)
The room rates were very reasonable for the place and the time of the year we stayed there.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the place to my friends and fellow tripadvisor's :-)
We stayed in the A4 apartment. The only downside to this apartment was the lack of a lift, which meant we hiked it up 4 flights of stairs every day. The first time it seemed ridiculous. After that, we loved the apartment so much we didn't really mind the climb.
This apartment is huge. I mean HUGE. Technically there are 2 bedrooms, but there are two more beds in a living room alcove that make it more like 2 1/2 bedrooms. The master bedroom is quite roomy, and while we were there over Christmas we could see people setting off fireworks through the bedroom skylights.
The decor in the apartment is lovely. It has been recently renovated, and it was very well done. The kitchen was very welcoming and we ended up eating in the apartment almost every single night we stayed.
There is more than enough heat, including through the floor. There is a washer, which we made frequent use of, and a patio that we were dying to make use of (but it was really too cold). There are also two toilets, a shower, and a separate bath tub.
The price was more than reasonable - we would have paid more to house our family in an Ibis Budget than we did for this amazing apartment.
It is outside Old Town and the sights, but the walk isn't ridiculous, and it's only about 10 minutes to IP Pavlova metro station. There is a Billa market right around the corner (where about 1/2 the checkers speak English, and where all but one were very, very nice) and the Indian restaurant about 20 meters up the street is delicious.
Most of all, I cannot recommend the customer service of the owners more highly. They were amazingly helpful - allowing us leeway to get our deposit wired in. And when my husband's expensive camera was forgotten in the room, all it took was one phone call and they brought it to the airport themselves immediately.
Did I mention the driver who picked us up? He was SO nice! And he wasn't on time to pick us up - he was early.
Residence Belehradska was at least half the reason we fell in love with Prague.
We stayed here during our short stay in Prague. Our criteria was lots of space and 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. This place was perfect and a good value for our large group. It was a tad far for walking to sites, but the tram was just in front and made it easy, however we never did find the perfect tram schedule. We got lost a few times returning to the apartment. The area is nice, but a rough look in the hood. The owners family of this place are fantastic and beyond helpful.
I would stay again if in need of same situation.
We really enjoyed Residence Belehradska. The owners are very nice and the building and the apartments are really good. We stayed in an N-1 for 5 nights and the living space was really large, light and bright and the bedroom and bathroom were nice. We really liked the location - tram stop right in front, but from the back of the building, we never heard the tram noise, nice normal residential neighborhood, supermarket a couple of blocks away, some restaurants within a couple blocks further, and just a good place to be. I cooked a couple of nights and really enjoyed that aspect of the apartment. There was a stereo, so we could listen to music, and be homebodies most nights after a long day of walking around. We also really appreciated the computer with internet access that was in the hallway since we didn't bring a laptop to Europe (apparently everyone else does from what we could see). Yes, the internet would go down relatively often, but one of the other guests told me that you just had to unplug/plug back in the modem power plug and it would usually be fine, and this worked.
The big issue, however, that I will need to consider if we go back for a longer visit again, is the noise factor. The walls are thin, which is fine during the day for normal activities, not great, but okay. What was terrible was that there were a bunch of college age students next to us the first night who came home at 2:30 AM and kept partying for another hour or longer in the room right next to us. My husband and I were both solidly asleep and that was the end of that. Sometime during all that, someone else banged on their door, so we weren't the only guests whose night was ruined and these kids did not care because they kept going after that for quite awhile. Apparently, they had pulled the same thing the night before and promised to be quiet this time but had lied through their teeth to the owners. After they left, there didn't appear to be any guests next to us/in our area - we never heard another peep from our apartment, but I would worry about who we would be next to again. Plus, even if they had tiptoed in and were quiet, I probably would wake up because I am a light sleeper. I still would give it four stars, especially if you are heavy sleeper.
