Just returned home from a wonderful visit to Marrakech, made amazing by staying at this gorgeous Riad. From Mohammed’s care and attention at breakfast, to the lovely cleaner who told my flip flop off when I fell down the stairs, to Jamal for his welcoming face at the end of a long day, and Zacharias who didn’t mind pausing his game of Candy Crush to help us out 😁
The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to relax; the hammam and massages were very relaxing, and the room was clean and comfortable.
If you are brave enough to wander the back streets you will find the green door to a calming and peaceful oasis.
This Riad was amazing. Jamal was so helpful with airport transportation and greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. The Riad itself was beautiful. Room was super clean and had a massive bathtub in the bathroom which was a nice surprise. We ate breakfast at the hotel almost every morning- fresh juice, coffee, cake and bread! The location the hotel is also very nice- close to places to eat and Les Baines de Marrakesh (highly recommend that spa!!!) The entrance into the hotel was locked- you would ring the bell and someone would come and get you. This was a major plus to me- made us feel very very safe! I would absolutely come back and stay at this hotel in the future!
The amenities here are fanatic, the place is stunning and the host, Jamaal, extremely helpful. The roof terrace is a massive win if you are lucky enough to get a room there. The riad is spotless and the Hammam w/ massage seemed very good value for money. We asked the staff to set up a breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early and they completely forgot - only thing that stopped this being 5*.
Great Riad located close to several interesting location (Saad tomb, El-Badid palace, jewish quarter/spice's souk). The room were great with tall ceiling and nice decoration. The bathroom was spatious and clean and the bed was comfy.
The service was flawless, espacialy Zacarias the manager while we were there.
We stayed at the road for 4 nights. The riad is really cosy and has a nice Arabic style interior.
We really loved the fact that some of the public areas of the riad were actually partially open aired.
It’s located in the medina and it’s a bit hard to find if you don’t know which way to go in the medina. But all local people were very helpful and guided us to the entrance. And once you know where it is you’ll find it back easily.
The room we stayed in was nice with a big shower and a good beds. We stayed on the main level and the most gorgeous hotel door did close well, but wasn’t a soundproof like you’re used to in modern hotels. However that didn’t bother us we’re not light sleepers.
That staff we’re really friendly and hospitable. If you some french you’ll manage just fine and most staff speak a little English as well. If we needed help they were more than willing to help out and gave us some good tips on where to eat or where to go.
I would highly recommend this riad for when you want to experience the real Marrakesh.
