We spent one sleepless night here
Music from local night club could be heard until 4 am. Large windows in room made room very cold. Manager though was very friendly and apologetic. Food on site but did not try as put off by seeing frozen chips defrosting on roof top terrace.

I have spent more than a month in this hotel. Great staff and absolutely amazing owner. It’s right in Thamel but inside a quite street. It’s only steps away from the action but yet quite. Rooms are very clean and affordable. Great roof top area to enjoy a meal or view. They let me store my bag when I was away on the trek. They even let me store my valuables in their personal room so they are safe and secure when I am away. Thanks Raju and everyone!

Despite the good last reviews, everything on this hotel was really average. The price (we've seen both better and worse rooms in that range), the room and also the place. Service was nice, but they charged us for baggage we left there during our trek. The room was bit weary, the cleanliness was so so, but the overall look was ok. Wi-fi worked most of the time, but the internet was really slow. The view to the "garden" wasn't actually worth the extra money – we seen more mess than calming green.
Whole street looked nice and quiet, but it wasn't – actually there was always something noisy, warehouse with glass bottles during the day and someone doing the dishes during the night, not to mention the running water all the time. Btw, when you have your own water filter, don't use the hotel water, it has some weird taste, something like iron, even when filtered both mechanically and chemically.

– And special mention for Luwangsha café few steps away, unfortunately, they don't have their own Tripadvisor page, it's just a small bistro, but very good. Tasty momos and chowmein for great price.
