In October 2019, I left this hotel on the thought I would never return. But for my short January trip, I decided to give the hotel a try again. Who would’ve known, I’d be greeted with a pleasant surprise and a trip to remember.
They’ve changed drastically within the short span of 2 months. Lobby was filled with a pleasant fragrance, welcome drink was served and check in process was swift. Hotel room? Revamped to a modern look. From curtains, to carpets and even the dressing table. Breakfast was back to serving a variety of dishes on different days.
But what made this stay impressive (and also gained back my trust to make this hotel my go-to), was Ms Liu Liu (I believe she’s the assistant manager).
Unlike any other visits, this trip, my friend was extremely ill. Ms Liu Liu was very hospitable and understanding of our situation. From waiving a fee from staining of hotel property to even assisting us in getting wheelchair assistance at the airport, I can’t express how thankful I am for her help over the 3 days I was there.
We phoned the concierge for wheelchair service and also an ambulance (which they called for taxi instead as it’s cheaper than getting an ambulance), all was settled with a snap of a finger.
To add, a private hospital is located around 5 mins away from the hotel. Hospital comes with an translating counter as well (which would otherwise be a hospital unable to offer help as none of the nurses there understood English).
Once again, I would like to thank Ms Liu Liu for going the extra mile in providing all the help she could within her means. My sick friend did not get to meet Ms Liu Liu but I hope that in the future, I would be able to introduce them!
With this review, I hope the hotel management would be able to pass my gratitude to Ms Liu Liu and reward her for the impeccable service she’s providing for travelers from around the world.
I’ll definitely be back when the virus is over! Till then, stay safe.
