The room is nice and value for money. the location is easy access to public transport in bangkok. the nearest BTS station "Chong Nongsi" about 5-10 minutes walking from hotel. near to patpong night market - walking distance. Most of the famous shopping malls in bangkok are within 5km radius from the hotel.

Dear mohdy843 Thank very much for taking the time to share your feedback on Tripadvisor, I am happy to know you have enjoyed facilities and found everything to be convenient. Our team works hard to assure that our guests get the best experiences during their visit to Bangkok. The hotel is in the great location with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also, we sit in the middle of both BTS and MRT which can take you to see the other sides of Bangkok. And it is only 2 stops to the major shopping mall which is in the center of Bangkok, Siam Square. The team and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again very soon. With best regards, Narisa

Stayed for one week in 2015. The staffs memorized my name and in fact memorized the kind of eggs i normally have in the morning.

Stayed in the Club Room and did not miss the chance soaking in the tub every night. Food provided in room service was really good, i enjoyed the Pad Krapow and it is a must try!

Enjoyed the gym facilities altho it was small but equipped with everything i need just to keep myself fit and also enjoyed dipping in the rooftop pool from sunset until night time.

I can't wait for my next stay in Amara!!

** had to select april 2016 on the column because there was no option for earlier than that. I decided to become tripadvisor reviewer only today hence the reviews for all the hotels I have stayed in Bangkok.

We stayed in a club room on the 24th floor and it was stunning! The views, the comfort, the service, everything you need to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The rooftop pool and bar is the highlight of the hotel.

Very nice rooftop infinity pool with view of MahaNakhon, the soon to be tallest building in Bangkok. You can even see the Chao Phraya in the far distance. Too few sun-chairs though. Rooms are not very big, but big enough. Large shower though. I liked the simple black-white-beige color scheme of our room. Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Good English from staff. Nice city view from our room on 11th floor. Didn’t have breakfast due to jet-lag and that I thought it was too pricey by Thai standards. All in all a very nice and new hotel, but you can get basically the same standard for about 20% less investment – but not with such nice rooftop pool!

A brand new hotel located on surawong road, room is clean and tidy, with comfort bed for sleep. Refrigerator was empty, but we can buy soft drink, beer, or liquor at the lobby lounge with very reasonable price, i can say supermarket price.5 minute walk to patpong area, we can find many restaurant near that area. Or we can try seafood restaurant at the opposite of the hotel. A famous bangkok curry crab and fresh seafood resto.
Breakfast was good with many variation of foods.
Will be back again when visiting bangkok.

Unless you all want to share a bed, then no. But the bed is nassive - is easily the biggest bed I've ever seen. I think it is 2 queen size beds pushed together. Maybe you could ask the hotel if it is possible to have the beds separate, then you could sleep 2 in one bed and 1 in the other.
