We enjoyed our first time stay at Melia as one of my friend recommend this hotel during this pandemic. New normal stay of room setup, food and service are fantastic.
The staff are very helpful especially Roy and Nan from front desk who always watch out what we need since from beginning until check out time.
We will be back again soon.

I stayed here for four nights and due to the pandemic, I spent most of my time during the day in the hotel too, doing as much work as possible online, venturing out very cautiously only when absolutely necessary for my work. Despite limited staff and caution with resources due to the pandemic, the service at Meliá was still outstanding. Every hotel worker was well trained on handling hygiene, personal distancing, and security measures. Despite the many adjustments, there was never a smile missing from their faces; even for those required to wear masks, you could sense their smiles underneath. The breakfast (esp. Peter), room service, front desk (esp. Oscar and Nan), and pool staff all went above and beyond to show exceptional hospitality. It was the haven that I needed during a difficult travel period.

Dear S5680QCandrewf, Warmest greetings from Melia Yangon! Thank you very much for taking the time to share so many positive elements about our property; especially what Melia Yangon is doing during these unprecedented and unpredictable times. It is true that at Meliá Yangon, we set the health and safety of our guests and employees as our main priority. And while our doors are open, we are fully cooperating with the Myanmar Ministry of Health and Sports and following all guidelines provided by local and international health officials. Meliá Yangon is focusing on and applying stringent practices around food handling, as well as sanitization, disinfection and cleaning of guest rooms and public areas. Anti-bacterial hand sanitizers have been placed in all areas across the property and face masks are provided on request to our guests, in case they need them. I have shared your compliment words on to Peter, Oscar, Nan and pool staff who have done extraordinary effort during your stay. Thank you for recognizing their efforts. Again, many thanks for reviewing your Melia "Service Culture" experience. I look forward to welcoming you back at Melia Yangon. Best regards, Paul Zaw Myu Nan Guest Experience Manager
