If you don t know Chung King mansion, be aware there is minimum 20 min waiting line to take the elevator...not very clean around and full of vendors harassing you...

We stayed here for a week. Upon arrival, the caretakers greeted us with a smile and even asked us if we were okay (we looked really stressed because our flight from Korea was delayed and it was already 10 p.m). George was from Africa and the other caretaker was Filipina, whose name I already forgot. We got along easily and our check-in was relatively fast.

This guesthouse is located in Block D of the iconic Chung King Mansion on Nathan Road. It was already late night when we arrived but there were still some people around the area, mostly Indian businessmen offering tourists rooms in their hostels.

The owner, who we corresponded thru email, was also nice, but he was obviously very busy. He asked us how our stay was; we told him that our room's AC unit was leaking and he had it looked at while we were gone.

The room was small. If you're Asian, it's okay and you can move around a little. But if you're a Westerner, good luck. The room has two beds, with a ceiling fan, an AC unit, and a bathroom. The hot water was functioning but we had to wait for 10 minutes before the water became hot. The guesthouse also had Wi-Fi which was fast! They replace the towels, bedsheets and pillowcases whenever they see them dirty. They have basic toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo and soap. They also have a water heater in the common area as well as a refrigerator.

We spent less than 8000 php (around HKD 1200 for a week's stay). We only stayed here to rest, shower and sleep during the night because we were mostly out during the day, exploring HK.

Overall, if you wanna get value for money, I would recommend this place.

The building this guesthouse is located in is the most dangerous building in Hong Kong! We didn't know this prior to our arrival so it was heck of a shock! It was difficult to find, but one we did find it the staff were helpful enough and the room was okay! If you're on a really cheap trip then I would recommend this place! If like us you try go as cheap as possible and budget but only to a certain extent, then. This probably isn't the place for you!

I love to stay here due housekeeper took care of us everyday with tidy and clean room. The guesthouse is located in the massion which popular with crowded area in hong kong. The guesthouse is nice and cheap in hongkong. Location is most considerable to reach many places in Hong kong. MTR TST station is close from the guesthouse is about 50 meters and also very easy to take a bus anytime to/from airport (N21). Enjoy!

even if you are offered this place for free, don't take it as it will spoil your holiday. There are better places in the very same building for the same or lesser price. The room is so small that even by HK standards it is a no no.
