Hotel hoping with my family. Booked hotel through bookingdotcom. The hotel is very nice, the room and the bathroom are clean, the room has complete bath aminities. The hotel didnt provide us with mineral water inside the room but they provide it outside the room. Theres coffee break corner in the middle of the hotel.

It took 10mins walking to the heart of prawirotaman. It also close to indomaret, atm, barber shop, indomie stall, and other local food stall. The hotel has no laundry service but if you wanted to, you can just go cross the street. There are three shops laundry service, cost us like 15k rupiah per kilogram (one day service).

This hotel is located near Jl. Prawirotaman and its not hard to find places to eat and there is a minimarket close to it. The balcony is perfect for smoker. However, I believe that they should improve the bathroom cleanliness and to offer bigger garage to store guests' motorcycle.

We booked this hotel based off reviews but sadly we had a bad stay and had to leave early. Maybe we expected too much. The room was clean and nice enough, although there were some issues such as a big hole in the wall and a ceiling that looked like it was about to fall down. The breakfast menu is limited but the food is okay. Location is excellent.

The two issues that made us move were the smell of the bathrooms and the noise at night. Our bathroom smelled like an open sewer. It was overpowering and after two days, I just couldn’t put up with it anymore. The bathrooms are tiny and when you shower, the toilet gets soaked, so that for women you’re always having to sit on a wet toilet seat. I know this place is cheap and I could look past that if it wasn’t for the smell. And the noise... apparently there’s a printer behind the hotel. I don’t know what it was, but there was a sound like someone banging on the wall with their fist on and off all night. There’s also a loud tapping and an electrical sound that buzzes. The rooms are light due to a window above the doors. I have a heart condition and need to sleep so after two bad nights we had to move on. I’ve stayed in cheap hotels around the world and I don’t mind them as long as I can get a decent sleep. Unfortunately Grand Marto was a miss for us.

The staff really stands out compared to many hotels we stayed in during our travels in Asia. Really caring and are willing to help with anything. Room is good, decent sized and bed is comfortable, shower is amazing. Hotel is really clean and cold water/coffee/tea is available for free throughout the day. Location is nice, next to prawirotaman which is a busy street with lots of restaurants and tourist offices etc, but you dont notice this at all in the hotel itself. Is it perfect? No but nothing is. AC isnt positioned really well, it blows right over the bed. Breakfast is tasty and good, but if you dont eat indonesian food for breakfast you only have 3/4 choices. Also we could sometimes hear a weird noise coming from the ceiling which happened multiple times a day, which was annoying if we wanted to sleep. However all the positive points outweigh the negative ones which still made this a 10/10 for us!

Good location, clean room, nice style and excelent service.
The personal is very nice and helpful. We had to leave the hotel early morning, and they prepared our breakfast to take away.
100% recommended.
It is next to a street full of nice restaurants, and you can take a tuc-tuc and get to Malioboro street in 15min.
