We started and ended our trip in Asia-Green Kiwi Hostel. The atmosphere was always super-thanks to the many backpackers and the good-humored staff. We stayed in the female dorm-that bunk beds were comfortable, of course was not enough space for the luggage and the room had a musty smell, but it was not really bad.
We had an open shower area, unfortunately the toilets were often flooded, because some people simply can not behave.
In the morning you will be greeting you with a "Good Morning! Breakfast? Coffee or Tea?" welcomes and then there toast with sweet spreads and fruit and drink to-really delicious.
There's enough info on the city by the employees and four computers with a stable internet reception.
We have felt very comfortable with you, dear Kiwi's. Thank you for that!

This was our first experience with a dorm room, and it has been a great one. We stayed for 2 nights. Traffic can be noisy in the evening, so you might want to bring earplugs. But if you have been wandering the whole day, you are probably very tired! Breakfast was very nice, not the plain white toast, but wholeweat and as much as you want. We love Kaya!! Coffee was very good and the price for an extra cup is very reasonable (2 dollars). Bathroom was clean but very hot! Nice showers though! Within walking distance of Little India. Backpackerwise it is expensive, but probably one of the best in Singapore. Don't skip Singapore!! You can eat low-budget to keep your overall budget in balance!

We stayed here for 3 nights, overall we were safe and felt ok about the hostel but a few things needed improvements. The AC didn't work in our room so was warm in the room, not sure of how clean the sheets were.
Wifi ok in the room but sometimes didn't work for the laptop, nice to have computer access (when they were connected to the internet, breakfast was some fruit and toast - needed some juice, too warm for coffee or tea. Nice location between two MRT lines.

Room Tip: The 4 bed-room don't have a lot of room and if the AC is broken, can be very warm at night.

Stayed here for two nights and thought that it was really good apart from the fact out room was a cupboard in a bunk bed in it! There wasn't room to swing a cat! But it didn't matter because the breakfast, the friendly staff and the roof terrace made up for it!

Showers good. Toilets not so good. I think when you are paying 30£ a night you shouldn't have to pay extra for using towels! It would have also been nice to see unlimited tea&coffee at breakfast for the same reason.

However very close to
Lavender MRT so close to anywhere. Will be recommending!!

It was not the best in terms of amenities but the service was great. It is one of the cheapest places to stay at in Singapore. The breakfast was nice with a lot of fruits and free brewed coffee. I instantly felt connected because 2 of the staff I met were Filipinas. They were very friendly and made my stay really feel like home. The other staff from my first night who was local was very bubbly. The location was okay, it was not the nearest to MRT stations, the directions I followed was for those coming from the airport which is via the Lavender MRT and it was quite a walk. The Boon Keng MRT via the purple line was nearer but it was a few minutes walk too. You have to take off your shoes when going inside the hostel so the stairs leading to the lobby kinda smells funky. The room was okay too, it doesn't have room lights you have to depend on the reading lights each beds have. The shower rooms were small but functional. The wifi wasn't that great but it works.
