Very nice and clean room.
This is the hotel to go with family, York Hotel has quadruple room, which is very spacious even for 4 persons.
The receptionist and concierge are very nice, friendly and helpful.
For sure i will stay in this hotel again for my next trip.

This hotel is terribly dated. It does not look like a 4 star hotel at all. The bellman serves as the concierge also. I was not impressed with service or look of this hotel. Food for breakfast was very average. Restaurant in a bad location on a wide corridor leading to elevators. It is a 10 min walk to Orchard St. I would definitely not stay here again until they refurbish and renovate entire hotel.

Booked a room for 4 adults and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It is massive! The bathroom is also very roomy.
Hotel is short walk to Orchard Road and convenient to shopping. We left our baggages at the concierge after checkout as our flight is not til later. They booked us a van to the airport.
We had a lovely stay.

Great location to lucky plaza, ion shopping mall all walking distance. Orchard street shopping. Pool area ok. Breakfast was great variety . Staff always helpful. Wi fi abit expensive. Concierge was good and helpful at booking tours etc.

Location wise is nice as it's not too far to public transport and Orchard Road. Design is older British style(?) and not modern minimalist but it's clean and nice though.
Concierge was very helpful but reception I think can be improved as not enough people to handle the guests when I arrived.
I like the room and everything inside but don't understand why my wife smelled cigarette smoke in the floor and in the room.
The breakfast? Love it with all the various foods. Can wrong with the ham :D too bad it's not refilled fast enough.
Overall, I like the hotel and would recommend those want to stay not far from Orchard but don't want to have the crowd of people.
